She lives a chaotic, stressful life and that’s why her heart is always racing in overdrive, which often ends her in the hospital. The taxi driver is a refugee from Kosovo. At five in the morning they start a conversation. The taxi driver says to her “Now, I am living like a dog, alone.” This statement summarizes the whole story. The taxi driver seems very unhappy and depressed with his life. She tries to cheer him up, but then suddenly she realizes how similar their lives are.
