Tulad nito:
/ba:lah/ - bullet /kasa:mah/ - companion
/bala?/ - threat /kasamah/ - tenant /tu:boh/ - pipe /maŋ:gaga:mot/ - doctor /tu:bo?/ - sprout /maŋga:gamot/ - to treat /tuboh/ - sugar cane /kaibi:gan/ - friend /paso?/ - flower pot / ka:ibigan/ - lover /pa:so?/ - burn /pasoh/ - expired

...Kant’s view of Good Will is a useful approach to ethics Kant’s moral philosophy relies on humans acting in accordance with their duty. In order to achieve this Kant argued that the source to all moral behaviours is a Good Will. Kant believed that acting morally is pre-programmed in all of us. He classified this belief with two main distinctions of knowledge, a priori and a posteriori. A priori knowledge is knowledge that comes without experience, for example anything a new born baby does is priori knowledge as they had not previously done this. A posteriori knowledge is knowledge that comes with an observation of the world. An example of this is something that a child at school is taught through the actions of another student, this could be another student playing with a toy in a way that the first child had not previously seen. Kant also discussed analytic truths and synthetic truths, analytic truths are true by definition, for example a bachelor is a man who is unmarried. A synthetic truth relies on testing, for example a statement such as ‘I am a bachelor’. Kant argued that our understanding of morality is based on a priori statement as it innate, but also synthetic truths because they can be either right or wrong depending on the world and are understanding of it. Kant believed that when we are driven to act in a morally right way then we are said to act with a Good Will. He also said that good will is an innate human capacity and the highest type of goodness we...

...The protagonist of the series, Maron is a 16-year-old high school girl and rhythmic gymnast, who can also transform into the supernatural "Kaitou Jeanne" (怪盗 ジャンヌ Kaitōu Jannu?). Maron lives in an apartment alone—having been left by her parents, work abroad but is really possessed by demons. She is well liked at school, especially in chapter 11, when lots of guys from her school offer to escort her home on Valentine’s Day, and request chocolate valentines from her. She is also very stubborn and head-strong. Even so, Maron is a lonely young woman who hides her feelings behind a warm smile. Even though she has her parent's phone number and address, she is afraid she would once again be "thrown away" by her parents, and thus refuses to contact them. The only time she is contacted by her parents is by her mother, in order to tell her they are divorcing. Maron is very close with her best friend Miyako, though she still holds her at a distance. In the beginning, she sees Chiaki as merely a playboy, and refuses to trust him as he had always seemed to be hitting on her. However, after the incident when Maron was told of her parents’ divorce, Chiaki found Maron alone in tears, and he encouraged her to believe in herself. This was a turning point for Maron: Chiaki’s kindness helped her trust others, and it also sparked romantic feelings toward Chiaki. Throughout the series, she tries to confess to him, but something always happens. Finally, in the second last chapter, she confesses to him...

Why Chinese Mothers Are Superior

...Why Chinese Mothers Are Superior Non-fiction analysis How can you give your children the best upbringing as possible? Is it by being strict and fill their lives with rules? Or is it better to give them the opportunity to decide for themselves? Amy Chua would definitely choose the first option and in her article, “Why Chinese Mothers Are Superior” which is written in January 2011, we hear a lot about her grounds for why she thinks the first option is the right one. Amy Chua who writes the article “Why Chinese Mothers Are Superior” is an approved lawyer and works as a professor at Yale Law School in USA. Already from that information we can guess that she is very well educated. She mentions that she knows that there are a lot of people wondering what it is like inside a Chinese family who has all these limits and strict rules. Amy Chua knows what it is like, because she is raised by that way herself and she has done it towards her two daughters, Sophia and Louise, as well. Amy has established the ground rules, and defined some things Sophia and Louise were never allowed to do. Already in the beginning of the article Amy Chua engages the reader with the list she revalue with all these things that her daughters were never allowed to do. As readers we quickly make a picture of this way of raising children seems harsh and maybe even brutal. There are so many normal things on the list that almost every child gets to do where Chinese children are missing out. Amy Chua...
