With my parents limited education they weren’t able to get a job that paid them six figures and afford us the nicer things in life. But that didn’t matter because to my siblings and I, what we had was the nicer things since we never actually knew that there was something better. People want to attend college for many reasons, for example, a higher education, career preparation, new experiences and or to make a change in the world. Along with all those reasons, I want to attend college because I want to fulfill my fullest potential that so many people in my life say I have. I want to attend college to discover who I am, where I want to be and who I want to become. I want to attend college to be successful. I want to attend college so I can become a Marriage and Family therapist. So I can help all the families and couples that will be coming to my practice asking for my help and my knowledge. I want to attend college so I can give my children and family a better life and everything I was never afforded. I want to go to college so I can finally learn how to believe in myself. With everything I want to accomplish in my life, I don’t want to go to college, I need to.
