One major dish and drink were prepared in class were Lomo Saltado and Chicha Morada from the country of Peru. The Lomo Saltado has usually four steps to prepared, the first step is to marinate the beef with salt, pepper, garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar and cumin. Then you add sliced tomatoes with onion and to top it off add cilantro with jalapenos. Chicha Morada has a preference of purple corn and to prepare you boil corn with cinnamon, lemon, apple, cloves and pineapple. You let it simmer for an hour and a half you add sugar and it will be ready to drink with the dish. The dish looked appetizing with the rice and french fries, the residents of Peru would typically eat anything with potatoes. The drink itself had a pleasing color of a imperial
