Loren Armstrong Myth Analysis

Submitted By
Words 154
Pages 1
Throughout this article, Armstrong’s main focus is on what is myth, how it was evolved, and why we still so badly need it. She starts off with the myths of the hunters from the Patheolithic period up to the “Great Western Transformation.” The history in myths is the history in our society, our stories and beliefs, and our interest to try and understand the world, which connects us to our ancestors. This is where myths come in and help us better understand our universe. Armstrong makes connections, comparisons, and contrasts to catch and keep the reader’s attention. “Some of the very earliest myths, probably dating back to the Palaeolithic period, were associated with the sky, which seems to have given people their first notion of the divine”

Conclusion Afterword Author’s Note Acknowledgments Notes Foreword When a governor or any state official seeks elective national office, his (or her) reputation and what the country knows about the candidate’s background is initially determined by the work of local and regional media. Generally, those journalists do a competent job of reporting on the prospect’s record. In the case of Governor George W.
