Loretta was seen today as ongoing management of her sever obstructive sleep apnoea. She has done very well over the last twelve months and continues to use her CPAP therapy every night with an average use of close to eight hours a night. Her pressure is set at 9cmH20 and her residual AHI of 0.2 events/hr suggest good control of her obstructive sleep apnoea. She is waking refreshed without any significant concerns of fatigue, lethargy or sleepiness throughout the day. As you are aware, we had trialled some Sifrol for her quite significant periodic limb movement sequence disorder in the setting of her restless legs in the past but she had not noticed much benefit with this and we have elected to manage this conservatively.
