Lost and Found Policy and Procedures

A. All Lost and Found receipt will be handled by Operations Supervisor assigned in the Site.

B. Item(s) Found of Value, including Cash

*Items including, but not limited to:

• Backpacks

• Cell Phones/Chargers

• Computers/Laptops/Ipods

• jewelry/watches

• Personal identification (including driver’s license, passport, credit cards, Aramco ID, Iqama etc.)

• Keys

• Umbrellas

• Wallets and Purses

C. The Process:

* If a passenger found an item(s), should immediately hand over to the driver or operations inspector then complete a Lost & Found Card, by:

* Inspecting the item(s) in the presence of the person handing in the property, specifically itemizing all contents including money, credit cards, or other valuables.

* Attaching a completed Lost & Found Card to the item and recording the Lost & Found Card numbers and details in the Lost & Found Logbook:

* The operations supervisor receives will organize the item(s) in the Lost & Found Lock Box and Log the item/s in the Logbook, (typically in a manila envelope); make sure that the item has the Lost & Found Card attach to it.

* If owner identification (name, phone number, etc.) is available from the found property, record the owner information in the Lost & Found Logbook.

* The Operations Supervisor will write the owner in formal letter and record the communication attempts in the Lost & Found Logbook.

* Operations Supervisor will organize the item(s) in the Lost & Found Lock Box; make sure that the item has the Lost & Found Card attached to it.

D. Owner Contact and Claim(s)

1. The Operations Supervisor will make every effort to contact the owner (whether information is available or not), and log efforts on the Lost and Found logbook.

2. The Operations Supervisor will send an email to the owner (when information is available) indicating when and where the item(s) may be picked up.

3. If an owner is successfully contacted, or a claimant contacts the Operations Supervisor to claim lost property, the Supervisor must request the owner to describe the item(s) in sufficient detail (appearance, when and where lost and other identifying characteristics), to convince the Supervisor the claim is bona fide.

4. Claimants may claim property from 8:00 am to Midnight, when full time Supervisor is available to handle all claimant inquiries.

5. The claimant is required to produce ID and contact information, and sign the original Lost & Found logbook to indicate they have claimed the lost item(s). The Supervisor is to keep the logbook for future reference.

E. POLICY SUMMARY

All Lost and Found items must be reported right after the discovery to Bus Inspector, Dispatcher and Operations Supervisor with the necessary documentation and recording.

We shall exert the most effort to contact the owner of the said found items along with the claims process item “D” of this policy.

Any person who will violate this policy will be dealt accordingly.

F. Notes as per Aramco Policy: 7.2 Operational Incidents

7.2.2 CONTRACTOR shall ensure that any operational incidents such as delays, passenger overloads, traffic diversions, route obstructions, passenger suggestions or unusual requests, etc. are reported to SAUDI ARAMCO within two hours of occurrence, together with appropriate recommendations for corrective action if applicable.
