Louis Riel; An Inspiring leader, or a rebelling murderer?
I firmly believe that Riel was a good person. He stood for what he believed, was voted president of the metis, and helped form the province of Manitoba.

Because of his rebellion to Canada, Riel had a price on his head and a warrant for his capture. But still he continued to fight for the right of the Metis land. He fought against the injustice of Canada, risking his life in the process. A man with that much courage, and determination to do is part and help his people, surely must be good.
