Then I saw you with her Didn’t think you’d find another And my world just seemed to crash Shouldn’t have thought this would last And maybe that was the Biggest mistake of my life And maybe I haven’t move on since that night Chorus: Cause it’s 12:51 And I thought my feelings were gone But I’m lying on my bed Thinking of you again And the moon shines so bright, But I gotta dry these tears tonight Cause you’re moving on and I’m not That strong to hold on any longer As the sky outside gets brighter And my eyes begin to tire I’m slowly drowning In memories of him And I know it shouldn’t matter As my heart begins to shatter I’m left to wonder Just how it should have been..yeah… Chorus: Cause it’s 12:51 And I thought my feeling swere gone But I’m lying on my bed I’m not Thinking of you again And the moon shines so bright, But...

...And then you come. Clouded my mind, stole my heart, moved into each small part of my mind, became the center of my universe, my desire, my inexhaustible inspiration. And I have loved you more than any ever, your name on my lips not even the rain can erase, even as the storm my love does not go out. And a thousand times I have criticized myself thousand times I tell myself that I need to be controlled, it is not a good one too prefer, it will come back to bite me in the end. But crazy heart listens no one; it persistently pushes on his own. And what to do when they cannot oppose itself? When I love you desperately and unsurpassed, when I need you like the air? What to do when you've become my all and when the futile fight against him? In vain we are talking to no good, I have to take matters into my own hands. I wanted. I do not know how. What do I do when you wake up the best thing in me, when you're all I wanted out of life? What do I do when my hour without you is equal to the death penalty? Well, let me criticize all that I'm crazy for you, do not hurt me your critics. Criticizes i have criticized myself, but which, when no matter how many times promised myself that I would bring my emotions in order, at the very mention of your name I tremble. And no further.... ...Passionate Shepherd to His Love” and “Let’s Stay Together” both use romanticisms, creative diction, and a steady rhythm to persuade a woman, but the beautiful words of the author’s song makes the song more romantic. “The Passionate Shepherd to His Love” emphasizes in promising things that could not buy the love. The speaker is using persuasive exaggerated words that makes the poem incredible. For example, Marlow’s poem states that “And I will make thee beds of roses with a thousand fragrant posies” (Marlow 724). “a thousand fragrant poises” is something impossible to complete. Where will he find “a thousand fragrancies”? How does a bed can smell like “a thousand fragrant poises”? The poem is saying unrealistic promises (Marlow...

...It was a time of crisis, a time of tragedy and a time of courage and of undying love. The story of Mila 18 is set in German occupied Warsaw Poland before and during the German occupation of World War 2. Leon Uris's book is based upon the systematic humiliation and destruction of the Jewish population in Poland. Although the book is a fiction novel the story is based upon real historical facts and accounts from journals and survivors of the time period. The story is given a lot of depth by being told from a variety of points of view such as the German brainwashed pride, to the foreign journalist and the young Jewish boy to the Highest ranking Jewish military officer in the Polish army. Mila 18 started out as just a assignment to me that I had to complete in order to graduate high school. After about the 3rd chapter I really became intrigued with this story and I also became emotionally invested in the characters. I was nervous when there was danger and peril, I rooted for the couples, I was sad when they broke apart. The main reason why this book hit a chord with me was that it taught me what true courage is, what true strength is and what true love is. It is easy to be able to have any of that when life is easy but when pushed into a corner forced to live in sub human conditions and practically starved, that is when the true shows of courage, strength and love brought fourth. Over 600,000 Jews, gypsies, homosexuals and criminals were crammed into a ghetto only a few city blocks...

...Love. The word itself has multiple meanings. However everyone knows what it is when they hear the word spoken. As Diane Ackerman puts it in her essay Love’s vocabulary “I believed what I had been told: that the idea of love was invented by the Greeks, and romantic love began in the Middle Ages. I know now how misguided such hearsay is. We can find romantic love in the earliest writings of our kind. Much of the vocabulary of love, and the imagery lovers use, has not changed for thousands of years” This shows that the idea of love has been around for thousands of years and even at the beginning of time. This could be considered an aspect of love. There are many aspects of love but like the quote “ Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” love is up to what the person feeling it wants it to be and this is why an aspect is that love has no perceivable definition. This is an aspect because, love can be interpreted in many ways, it can be identified in any time period or era and it can affect people in both a positive and negative manner. A key point in the aspect that love has no perceivable definition is that it can be interpreted many ways. For example Ackerman states that, “What is my goddaughter to think when she hears her mother say: “I love Ben & Jerry’s Cherry...

You weep for all your childhood dreams that have vanished with the years. You weep for all your self-esteem that has been corrupted by failure. You weep for all your potential that has been bartered for security. You weep for all your talent that has been wasted through misuse. You look upon yourself with disgrace and you turn in terror from the image you see in the pool. Who is this mockery of humanity staring back at you with bloodless eyes of shame? Where is the grace of your manner, the beauty of your figure, the quickness of your movement, the clarity of your mind, the brilliance of your tongue? Who stole your goods? Is the thief's identity known to you, as it is to me? Once you placed your head in a pillow of grass in your father's field and looked up at a cathedral of clouds and knew that all the gold of Babylon would be yours in time. Once you read from many books and wrote on many tablets, convinced beyond any doubt that all the wisdom of Solomon would be equaled and surpassed by you. And the seasons would flow into years until lo, you would reign supreme in your own garden of Eden. Dost thou remember who implanted those plans and dreams and seeds of hope within you? You cannot. You have no memory of that moment when first you emerged from your mother's womb and I placed my hand...
