I. INTRODUCTION

1. Background of the Study

Academic Year 2014 – 2015 for many Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo High School (C.G.E.A.H.S.) students continue to prove that Erotic type of relationship or the popular love affair between boys and girls continue to rise at a very speedy rate. And so chances for an early experience of responsibility are heightened. What with the advent of different forms of media and its alarming influence in the minds of many young Filipino boys and girls, most especially those that are yet to establish a significant contribution to society. More than just being “in” with what seems to be a common practice for some, this Researcher is guided by what is now a famous line from a well-known cartoon character (Spiderman): “WITH GREAT POWER COMES GREAT RESPONSBILITY.”

Involving one’s self into an Erotic relationship at a considerably early stage in life may result to the acquisition of great power that may also demand great responsibility. This reality in life does not excuse Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo High School (C.G.E.A.H.S.) students mostly those enrolled for Academic Year 2014 – 2015. The limits and/or boundaries set by self-reservation are also regarded. Even if the statistics brought about the many students who entered into this type of relationship, the Researcher prefers to look more extensively to the positive side of it.

Accomplished because of a what is best known as an activity with love, this Research may be by young students, moved by a young Researcher with the guidance of a young Academician, a Research as this is intended to be of global importance.

2. Objectives

This Research aims to guide many students especially the young students of Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo High School (C.G.E.A.H.S.) in the formation of their opinion regarding Erotic relationship and the overwhelming demands that go along with it. It also aims to encourage the thoughts not only of the young Filipinos but also of the adults to be better aware of the seemingly deceiving act of getting into an Erotic relationship. As a Research that is supposed to be of relevance to many, the culture of a widespread significance is anticipated. This Research is designed to make many, if not all participants, better equipped when it comes to Erotic relationship.

3. Hypothesis

With the influx of the various forms of social media, many Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo High School (C.G.E.A.H.S.) students tend to indulge early into Erotic relationship. In addition, a sudden switch or change of focus or importance [commonly those of Academic relevance]for some who are into it, is most likely to come along . Furthermore, the relevance of a learned and/or educated community disappears swiftly. Not to mention the scandalous realization of a probable Teenage Marriage.

4. Statement of the Problem

Many Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo High School (C.G.E.A.H.S.) students are vent to ride the bandwagon of early demands for emotional responsibility without being cautious of the would-be consequences. Do they still regard the existence of many older people who have benefited from experiencing such.

5. Significance of the Study

This Research is highly significant as it pictures, in a not-so-traditional or common manner, the possibilities of an erotic relationship specifically for some Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo High School (C.G.E.A.H.S.) enrolled for Academic Year 2014 – 2015. In this era of Soap Operas that usually feature ”Young Love” or those who get into early erotic type of relationship, a Research as this may serve to be an advocate of a lasting and more responsible type of relationship.

An added significance of this study is the fact that young men and women are a sort of rebirth characterized by new desires, urges, impulses, interests, attitudes---- in two words: behaviour patterns. And they certainly decide what kind of adult a man will be. An added significance is that although the age at which an individual attains social and emotional security varies mental maturity is also reached at this particular stage in life. Also significant are the words of our National Hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal: “THE YOUTH REPRESENTS THE ENERGY OF THE PRESENT AND THE HOPE OF THE FUTURE”, and C.G.E.A.H.S. students made it happen.

II. REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE

2.1. Review of Related Literature

The famous Filipino Psychologist , Rocio Reyes Kapunan, in one of his Psychology books, The Psychology of Adolescence, (Rex Printing Company, 1971), clearly speaks of an early indulgence to an Exotic type of relationship by many young men and women . Said personality furthered that like childhood, adolescence follows an orderly sequence or pattern. And therefore, it is possible to observe certain characteristics and behaviour typical of them.

In the same book, Kapunan declares that young men and women differ in many aspects and/or disciplines in life. And this difference among them continues even to their adulthood. . Many. if not all, embrace this reality: Some are short, others are tall; Some are slender, others are big; Some are graceful, others are clumsy; Some are well-groomed, other are not-so-tidy when dressing; Some are virile and healthy, others are weak and sickly: A group of young men and women may be ready to face problems and/or the demands of life, others are not. This book authored by Kapunan reminds us that youthful interest, as in the case of most C.G.E.A.H.S. students who are into early emotional exercises, is attitude. For the same, it is the feeling side of interest.

Also according to Kapunan, emotions, especially by those who belong to a more prone idealistic/hopelessly romantic young men and women, are effective experiences resulting from the fusion of complex sensory and perceptual stimulation with established patterns of behaviour, accompanied by inner adjustment of stirred-up states as expressed in one or another form of overt behaviour. There are three patterns or components of an emotion: the stimulus, the feelings or impulses, and physical or physiological response [reaction].

Added to this, Filipino Philosopher, Corazon L. Cruz in her book, Contemporary Ethics, (National Bookstore, 1995) explored on the reality of Premarital Sex among Filipino teenagers (C.G.E.A.H.S. students, included). Cruz said that premarital sex seems to be quite a common practice. To heighten this consequence is the seemingly uncontrollable influences made by different forms of Social Media. Many pretty young brides are observed to be pregnant or “on-the-way” on their wedding day. The reaction of the bride’s parents is usually one of relief, the “all’s well that ends well” thing. Realistically, many attend “formal unions” if only to have a firsthand information or news on the matter. Eros, for said writer, involves the dignity of the persons involved. These are: 1) Eros cannot develop a mature inter-personal relationship of love for true love demands possessiveness, exclusiveness and permanence; 2) Eros cannot demand fidelity and trust, especially in casual affairs; 3) Eros can end in degradation of the other who is looked upon only as a sex object or a thing deserving of funny acts. Participation in early type of erotic relationship many

result to self-indulgence or fornication and may promote irresponsibility, for it shelves future repercussions and obligations especially towards a possible offspring.

Finally, American Sociologist-Priest-Writer, Fr. Andrew M. Greely, in his book, Faithful Attraction, ( Tom Doherty Associates, 1991), stressed that the younger ones who indulge into Eros (and some C.G.E.A.H.S. students did/do) are surely more likely to engage in erotic amusements than the middle and older generations do at the present: 28% of the younger, 24% of the middle, and 9% of the older swim in the nude at least sometimes; 64% of the younger, 41% of the middle, and 16% of the older take showers or baths together; 39% of the younger, 21% of the middle, and 7% of the older busy erotic underwear; 34% of the younger, 24% of the middle, and 10% of the older watch X-rated videos together. Greeley learned that younger respondents are far more likely than older respondents to score high on the playfulness measure, but though there is only a few percentage points difference between men and women at all ages, men, as was manifested in the statistics earned by this Researcher from some C.G.E.A.H.S. students, are more likely to report romantic play than women. The book reminds us that cohabitation and/or premarital sex represents major social change.

2.2 Conceptual Framework

A research on the demands of getting into an early state of national responsibility stands apt and fitting for all. Just like in other Researches, respondents of a survey conducted are given the benefit of the doubt as they are hold liable to stand and/or maintain their privacy. Following a series of questions asked, one is to benefit from the clear outcome of an endeavor designed to learn more or better of one human activity. A research on a popular activity which has reached global extent with some C.G.E.A.H.S. students clearly involved, is the Framework of a noble acquisition of knowledge.

2.3 Definition of Terms

ADOLESCENCE – v. To grow, to grow toward maturity.

CONTEMPORARY – adj. Occurring or existing at the same time.

EROS – n. Relation to or dealing with sexual love.

EXPLICT – adj. Clearly and precisely expressed.

FIDELITY – n. The quality or state of being faithful.

INDULGENCE – n. The act of indulging or gratifying one’s taste or desire.

INFLUX – n. A coming in.

MATURITY – n. Full development or the quality or state of being mature.

TESTIMONY – n. Exidence based on observation or knowledge.

VIRILE – adj. Having the nature, powers or qualities of man.

III. METHODOLOGY

The Method used in this particular research is the Survey-type method. Thirty (30) students from another Grade 10 Section studying in Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo High School (C.G.E.A.H.S.) (IV-Bonifacio) for School Year 2014 – 2015 were asked to answer Survey Forms with similar questions that were very much related to the topic of this research. From the data gathered based on their responses to the questions asked, this research earned its foundation or they provided the fuel as the research went on. As a result, diagrams were created and were made possible because of it. The researcher regarded the fact that respondents that come from the same Section or Class will make possible an almost similar schedule or availability. Enhancing the Method used will also mean the thinking and/or considering of possible Force of Influence exerted by other factors ( Social Media, included).

Comparison is of course another highly available action for it, and their answers vary or differ in some of the Five (5) questions written in the Survey Form. School Year 2014 – 2015 is a must for every student-respondent to be included, along with their being present School Year’s students of Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo High School (C.G.E.A.H.S.). This research was dependent on the variety or on the difference of their answer. Collecting different opinions as to things connected with early relationship is depicted in different situations beginning with the finding out if one was or is into an erotic relationship and ending with a question on the necessity or significance of involvement in a relationship at a chronologically early age. The respondents willingly answered questions and some even went to the extent of sharing his or her unsolicited advice.

Such Method of data collection is popular to many and research that involves personal experience on situations is of great help and/or assistance. Conclusion or finding out is made easier and accessible to many.

IV. RESULTS AND FINDINGS

This researcher’s work on Eros, a kind of early relationship for some Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo High School (C.G.E.A.H.S.) students who are studying School Year 2014 – 2015, revealed that twenty seven (27) or 90% of the total 30 respondents have been involved in some sort of emotional relationship with the opposite sex. Of these 27 Grade 8 students, eighteen (18) or 66.66% are Male while nine (9) or 33.33% are female. Eighteen students involved in the same, experienced “YOUNG LOVE”, Seven opt for “MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING”, and two considered their relationship complicated.

Twenty-one (21) or 70% of the students – respondents confused to have experienced the infamous “Friendzoned” a program in contemporary Computer Programming where a person is to be regarded merely as a “Friend” without extension or strings attached.

When put in a situation of having a relationship, Fifteen (15) or 50% of students – respondents preferred “TRUE LOVE”, eleven (11) or 36.66% of the students – respondents voted for “YOUNG LOVE”, four (4) or 13.33% settled for “PAST Time / FLING” while none of them picked “LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP”.

Due to various/personal and/or private reasons, a total of twenty-two (22) or 73.33% of the same students – respondents did not regard to necessity of being involved in an erotic relationship at an early age. Some of the respondents who favored the same reason out that age doesn’t matter when one is to be in a relationship may mean motivation to one’s mind and body. As expected, involvement in an erotic kind of relationship is more prone to male students – respondents (18) than to female students and a total of eight (8) students (6 boys, 2 girls) believe that it is necessary for youngsters to get into an erotic relationship, with three (3) male students and one (1) female students going for an eros that is meant only for Past Time/Fling.

V. SUMMARY/CONCLUSION/RECOMMENDATION

More than the advantages of getting into Eros early in life, as one’s acquisition of knowledge of the many and/or various demands of life, some Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo High School (C.G.E.A.H.S) students who are enrolled for Academic Year 2014 – 2015 still consider it better not to be involved in it. This kind of relationship that may also demand for a portion (big or small) of a student’s time has the possibility to be destructing. True love, which can only be attained when one enters into Eros is best achieved if and when maturation seeps in, and this usually comes later in life.

As every student should know, physical and physiological changes accompany an emotional experience. These changes are due to the functioning of the of the autonomic nervous system (The Psychology of Adolescence, 1971), and when one experiences an emotion, like fear upon seeing a snake the sympathetic or thoracic branch acts, as evidenced by tense muscles, inhibited digestion, construction of blood vessels, delation of the pupils of the eyes, and secretion of sweat glands making the hair on the skin stand on end. Set jaws and clenched fists, heavy breathing, choked voice, dilated nostrils, release of adrenalin from the medulla, increased blood pressure or pulse are other reactions of emotional experiences.

Eros, a kind of relationship with the opposite sex commonly involves love, which is a feeling of strong affection or attachment, it is the concern for someone, or the feeling of delight or pleasure in an object, person or situation. There is also love for God (Agape), and love for friend or relative (Filia). But unselfish love, better honed by a more mature mind which is dependent on a person’s biological structure, is the absence of an over – show of affection, selfish possession, or overprotection of parent, love for an older one known as crush relationship, over – developed attachment of teacher – pupil, passion toward the opposite sex, or obsession for an object. Generally, it is love that can inspire a young person to do what is right.

The Researcher strongly recommends the suspension and/or delay especially for some Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo High School (C.G.E.A.H.S.) students to satisfy a curiosity or interest to experience Eros. Even if in the Philippine setting, love is regarded by many to be one of the Four Cardinal Values along with justice, courage, and hope, it still is an action that demands giving and not all can give, especially those who enter into it early. A student who is into Eros type of relationship is bound to be thinking of the other. It is doing what one is supposed to do well and until a person is physically, psychologically, and emotionally ready, he or she is suggested not to be involved in an emotional carousel.

This is a good point of view from him, but why does loving someone of the same sex not give the right to raise a family and be just as happy? Some might say its discrimination; some might say it is unfair to humanity. Is it fair to take away the pursuit of happiness because a couple of the same sex wants the same as a couple of the opposite sex? Marriage brings on many new roles for couples like buying and taking care of a home, buying a vehicle, joining bank account, picking medical and life insurance. These rights of marriage are stripped from same-sex couples, not giving the equal right to be with the person they love and care for and what to build a life together with. Love is love, why should it be based on who you are in love with? When looking a same-sex marriage, I wonder if a person is making the choice to be with someone of the same sex, or if it is all they know and...

Love is not I, me or you. Love is us. Love is not wanting or expecting, Love is giving and accepting. Love is a strength that gives you courage to stand and act in a situation when you don’t even have the capacity to move. Love is a vibration that makes you strong. Love is a signal that binds the souls together. What I feel for my mother is Love. What I feel for my father is Love. What I feel for my sister is Love. What I feel for my brother is Love. What I feel for my grandparents is Love. But I don’t know how to show this Love. I never kissed my brother, or hugged my sister unoccassionaly or thanked my parents unreasonably or gifted my grandparents ever. I just don’t need these gestures to show my unconditional emotion to them. Do I? Dressed in a gorgeous piece came my princess and asked, “How am I looking Di?” And my “Yeah!!” Is enough for her to know that she is looking “Just Perfect”. On the Christmas Eve this year, a bundle of beautifully packed gift lied under my pillow. Holding them in my hands I rushed to my father and said, “Papa!! Santa gave me this”. And he knows that I was thanking MY PAPA SANTA. No matter how much treacherous our fights may be, and the next moment we are together playing Subway Surfers. This is my brother. ... 10/14/2013 When I think of the word love it gives me chills because this is a powerful word. Today I am going to talk about the three people in this world that I know and have knowledge that they love me. They are my husband and my two sons. I have had a lot of people to ask me how you know for a fact that your husband loves you. That answer is very clear and simple to me, because its not just one thing he does to show me its many things. When I look at my husband I see a forever with him. We have been married almost nine years now and were just as in love today as we were nine years ago. We still tell each other how much we love each other on a daily basis. We write each other love poems to each other. We love to do everything together. We have our moments when we just look at each other and gaze into each other’s eyes and just smile. Even though we have been so long we still talk about our future together and how we can make it better. He loves to plan things in advance and he loves to reassure me that there is a future for us together. Every year since we have been married he has wanted to renew our vows, because he say that he would remarry me every day if he could. He always gives me compliments on a daily even if I know I look a hot mess he tells me how beautiful I am. He loves to talk and he is very kind and gentle with me. Love

...Nothing can come close to the love that a mother feels for her children. Most women are inherently excellent mothers. Women carry their young before they are born and then continue to nurture them throughout their childhood and even into adulthood. Mothers make sure that their children are safe and happy throughout their childhood. It is the unconditional love that a mother feels that drives these feelings. It is hard to describe the feeling that a mother has towards her children. In fact, most people do not understand unless they become a mother themselves. Raising children comes with its own share of frustrations, from the needy new born baby that requires regular care to the sullen teenager, a mother's job is anything but easy. A famous saying states that "God could not be everywhere and so he invented mothers", these words are a great inspiration to mothers across the world. When all is well, a mother puts her children before anything else, including their own comfort and happiness. Mothers give an awful lot of support to their children, whether it involves very visible support or simple background encouragement. Not only do mothers support their children, but they also often hold the whole family structure together. This role is not always plain sailing. A mother can also be upset or hurt. Remember that a mother often takes the fallout for the toddler tantrums and the teenage angst. Despite this, mothers, generally, will love their children no matter what they do. ...

It makes us feel loved and cared for when we know that our significant other is thinking about how to give us the most pleasure. Romance is the key to keeping the sparks flying. Without it, any relationship will soon lose its shine. I know what LOVE is …!!!! I know what seeing is! As I saw you that day for the first time So I know what liking is! I know what striking is! As I stroke stone against stone So I know what the spark is! I know what rubbing is! As I rubbed heart against heart So I know what love is! I know what caring is! ...Love At First Sight Amber woke up late, spilt coffee on her dress, and was in a rush to make it to work on time. She was frantically running through the automatic doors when all of a sudden she collided into, Chandler, a blue eyed muscular UPS worker. Their eyes locked and she braced herself as he grabbed her arm and steadied her fall. They didn't speak but held a glance for what seemed like minutes, and then they went their separate ways. Amber walked away from that scene, heart-pounding wondering if she would ever see him again because after all it was “love at first sight.” After a first meeting, one may passionately feel as if they fell in love because the attraction is instantaneous, some may describe it as “fireworks” or “electricity” when its simply just sexual attraction. Is this attraction love at first sight? Or is it just a biological and scientific occurrence? Focusing in on the sexual attraction we see that research shows many hormones are involved in this process. Lets start at the brain, “you have motions, you also produce dopamine, a ‘feel good’ neurotransmitter that is associated with passion and addiction, and oxytocin, a hormone related to bonding” (Pincott, 4). With all of these neurotransmitters processing in the brain, it is said that ones pupils may enlarge when focusing on an object of desire (Pincott, 8). Research also shows that a person responds with their entire body when they feel desire. When one is around an object of their desire, adrenaline...

Love

...TO MY FIRST LOVE I can’t say that I loved you from the moment that we met. I can’t say that we were meant to be or that after years of separation we’ll finally break the walls that separate us and be one once more. I can’t say that in the time we’ve been apart I’ve become a better person, better for you….better for us. If I said anything along these lines it would have been a lie. There’s much I want to tell you and a lot that I know I shouldn’t. Let’s start at the beginning: I remember when we met. You were one of the popular people. I was not. Everyday prior to our meeting I was nothing more than a background image on a less-than-boring wall. But for some reason on this day you chose to acknowledge me. On this day you chose to talk to me. I’ll probably never know why, or care why for that matter, but you did and since then my life has never been the same. As if you pulled me into light from the dark, or as though you created something out of nothing I had existence. I had meaning in my life. And that meaning was you. I would wake up every morning just to see you smile. I would miss my bus on purpose just to spend a few extra moments in your presence. I would shed the few nickels and dimes I had to give you whatever happiness money could buy. I would have given you the earth, the moon and even the sun if it so pleased you. I would have done it all. When you’re young everyone tells you to shoot for the stars, but no one tells you how dangerous ambition can be. No one...

...Love From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search For other uses, see Love (disambiguation). Archetypal lovers Romeo and Juliet portrayed by Frank Dicksee Love is an emotion of a strong affection and personal attachment.[1] Love is also a virtue representing all of human kindness, compassion, and affection —"the unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another".[2] Love may describe actions towards others or oneself based on compassion or affection.[3] In English, love refers to a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes, ranging from pleasure ("I loved that meal") to interpersonal attraction ("I love my partner"). "Love" may refer specifically to the passionate desire and intimacy of romantic love, to the sexual love of eros, to the emotional closeness of familial love, to the platonic love that defines friendship,[4] or to the profound oneness or devotion of religious love[5], or to a concept of love that encompasses all of those feelings. This diversity of uses and meanings, combined with the complexity of the feelings involved, makes love unusually difficult to consistently define, compared to other emotional states. Love in its various forms acts as a major facilitator of interpersonal relationships and, owing to its central psychological importance, is one of the most common themes in the creative arts.[6] Love may be understood as part of the survival instinct, a function to keep...
