Abstract
The marketing mix and strategy of the Waters Bottling Company to include their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats as well as the product, price, place and promotion. The mission statement is “to serve you by bringing you water, pure and simple.”

· Introduction to Marketing o The Marketing Mix
· Product: Mineral rich pure mountain water bottled in glass bottles. Reason for bottling water into glass bottles is it is eco-friendly and eliminates toxins from leaching into the water. There is no after taste, therefore, the ‘pure’ in pure mountain water remains true. According to the website BeCause Water (2014), before plastic, glass was used to store and ship materials. The trade-off for using glass is its breakability ( Possible name of brand is “WaterBlue,” to keep in touch with the president’s desire to incorporate the Blues musical style, then slightly tint the glass blue. · Place: Since the company is well-funded, distribution of the product should be nationwide and possibly sign a contract with a national retailer to promote. Biggest competitor would be with other bottling companies that sell water in glass bottles versus plastic such as San Pellegrino water which is sold at multiple retailers. · Price: Although popularity has risen after the knowledge of leaching chemicals in plastic water bottles and with glass’s resurfacing, it still remains to be slightly more expensive then it’s plastic counterpart. Keeping the price low would be beneficial for consumers as a way to try and have them go the healthier route. Not too low that the company won’t make a minor profit, but enough to be
