Have you ever heard of The Black Dahlia? The story behind Black Dahlia is confusing, which is why many people don’t have a good understanding of it. This paper talks about how the early life of Black Dahlia, how she died, and the possible murderers.
Elizabeth Short or also known as The Black Dahlia July 29, 1924, in Hyde Park, Massachusetts. Elizabeth was the third child out of five, born into Cleo and Phoebo. When Elizabeth was only six years old her father abandoned the family. In Elizabeth sophomore year of high school she dropped out and started working. At the young age of 16 Elizabeth was traveling around America, picking up jobs such as a waitress and working in food service. Elizabeth was also known for dating different men.
Black Dahlia body was found at Leimert Park at January 15, 1947. ELizabeth body was found cut into two pieces with blood drained out of her and scratch marks found all over. Black Dahlia was missing a small patch of skin, which was later found out the murderer cut of her flower tattoo and put it inside her body. Agent Ness who at the time was studying the case claimed he knew who “The Mad Butcher of Kingsbury Run” was. He gave the suspect two lie ditector tests but both times it came back negative. The possible mad butcher later checked himself into a mental hospital and the Ohio murders stopped. There is no exact evidence proven that he killed Black Dahlia but it’s one of few possible suspects with actual connections to her
