Explain how the MSTM program can help you achieve your professional goals.
The curriculum of MSTM, which is focused on a holistic development, will enable me to adapt to the business thinking quickly. It is this all-round development focus, which is going to be a key to becoming a business technologist. All in all, the MSTM program will provide me with a 360 degrees experience of business technology. This degree is exactly what I need in order to cultivate a fine blend of managerial and technical aptitude to run a business proficiently. When one’s long term goals align perfectly with the profession in demand, lo and behold, that’s when one is on his way to success.

My work experience at Accenture has added a few flavors like time management skills, teamwork skills. However, I will have to take a few management subjects, which will help me improve my planning, organizational & decision making skills and give me a better insight into the working of an industry. The management inputs, I receive from this course, will help to broaden my outlook towards engineering concepts with a new perspective and grow my leadership, entrepreneurship and project management skills.

In the third year of engineering, I joined the Project Smile. Project Smile was a social initiative focused on improving the basic communication skills of housekeeping staff of the college. I was involved in teaching English to the housekeeping staff. To coach primary English to him/her, to motivate him/her to use English daily as far as possible and to keep track of the progress of the particular student assigned and to communicate the same to the seniors and faculty were my responsibilities. But, we could not code MFCC algorithm before the project evaluation. Therefore, in the seventh semester, at the time of evaluation, we could not include MFCC codes in our presentation. As a result, we failed to achieve 10 points. One should promise only that is deliverable considering the time span. This was a lesson for us. Because of tremendous work pressure, we decided to work in the break between the seventh and eighth semesters.
