It would only be one form of energy used being used in my household, and that energy would be electricity. For the purpose of transportation I drove a car that ran only on electricity. There are only five reasons in which I would use energy in my house hold, and they are known as follows: Driving, Heating system, Cooking, activities, and house cleaning. The principal source of energy in which my corporation generates is nuclear power. I become aware of it due to the fact that “Nuclear Power” has become attached to the label of the corporation. There are a number of to be made in order to reduce the corporation’s energy use. If public transportation is used, I can very well decrease the amount of electricity used. Additional, in the event that I used the more conventional washing machines, I can and will decrease the amount of electricity used for the purpose of cleaning. There are a number of precautions I can make to amplify the proficiencies of energy use. In the event that I used energy proficient lighting, then as a result I will produce much more proficient electricity consumption. As an additional precaution if I were to use a more advanced proficient system of preparing food, I could then produce a more proficient usage of electricity for preparing food.
In the event that the principal foundation of energy came from the country of Russia, diminishing the usage of electricity could mean less trade in from Russia and allowing for an improvement in the stability of compensation to the United States. From an environmental

...Q1. What is microeconomics? “It is impossible to separate microeconomics from macroeconomics”- Do you agree with this statement? Justify your answer with appropriate argument. Ans: Microeconomics is derived from the Greek word ‘mikros’ meaning ‘small’. Microeconomics deals with the small individual units of the economy such as individual consumers, individual firms and small aggregates a group of individual units such as various industries or markets. Thus, microeconomic theory seeks to determine the mechanism by which the different economic units attain the position of equilibrium, proceeding from the individual units to a narrowly defined group. Microeconomic analysis concerns itself with narrowly defined groups since it does not study the totality of behavior of all units in the economy. In other word, the study of economic system or economy as a whole lies outside the domain of microeconomic analysis. Yes I agree with this statement that “It is impossible to separate microeconomics from macroeconomics”. The terms microeconomics and macroeconomics have their origin in the early 1930s, when economists strove to gain an understanding of factors that created the Great Depression. Separate mechanisms to describe the actions of individuals and aggregate populations were first described by the Norwegian economist Ragnar Frisch (1895-1973) in 1933. Frisch called these mechanisms "microdynamic" and "macro-dynamic." He wrote that micro-dynamic analysis seeks to "explain in...

This study used annual data from 1970 to 2006. Johansen-Juselius cointegration tests revealed that property and violent crimes are cointegrated with unemployment and inflation. Furthermore, the empirical evidence exhibit that unemployment and inflation are the driving factors for crimes in Malaysia. Therefore, supply-side economy may be an ideal choice of policy to reduce crime rates in Malaysia. Keywords: Crime, Inflation, Unemployment, Malaysia 1. Macro Economic Variable & Stock Return

...INTRODUCTION Macroeconomic Variables Macroeconomics is a branch of economics dealing with the performance, structure, behaviour, and decision-making of an economy as a whole, rather than individual markets. This includes national, regional, and global economies. Macroeconomic is a factor that is pertinent to a broad economy at the regional or national level and affects a large population rather than a few select individuals. Macroeconomic factors are key indicators of economic performance and are closely monitored by governments, businesses and consumers. Macroeconomic factors are the factors which affect the wider economy. In other words these factors seem to summarize the picture of economy. Macroeconomic variables include economic output, unemployment, inflation, interest rates, money supply, exchange rate, foreign reserves, savings and investment. Variables used in study: • Consumer Price Index (CPI) Inflation is a rise in the general level of prices of goods and services in an economy over a period of time. When the general price level rises, each unit of currency buys fewer goods and services. Consequently, inflation also reflects erosion in the purchasing power of money – a loss of real value in the internal medium of exchange and unit of account within the economy. A chief measure of price inflation is the inflation rate, the annualized percentage change in a general price index (normally the CPI) over time. A consumer price index (CPI) measures changes in the...

Determinants Macroeconomics Variables and Stock Return

...Introduction Stock market is a place for listed companies to raise capital .Companies can use the capital for continuing operating activities and expand business. However, the investors are explained to get a positive return from dividend and capital gain in the stock market. Based on the history, the economic condition will influence stock market. For instances, Malaysia faced deflation during the Asian crisis in years 1997. It caused the KLCI index sharply reduced from 1207.43 to 470.43. It have been shown that the investors need to predict the stock prices based on the macro factors to get an abnormal return from stock market There were a lot of researches to study the relationship between macroeconomics variables and stock returns. It is important to study the interaction of macroeconomics factor and stock return. Based on the study, the public can identify which factors can influence the stock market and use the knowledge to predict movement of stock price. According to Wongbangpo & Sharma (2002), the research can reveal the functions of stock market in identify the change in economic condition and also can predict the future performance of stock market. Besides, the study will be useful for the stock market participators. Clare & Priestley (1998) said that the study of the risk factor relationship of stock market will be useful for corporate manager to undertake cost of capital calculation. Moreover, the fund managers can use the information from the result of study to make...

Microrconomics

...Question 1: How is the Microeconomics different from macro economics? Discuss also the subject matter of Microeconomics in detail. Answer: MICROECONOMICS "Micro Economics is the study of particular firm, particular household, individual prices, wages, incomes, individual industries and particular commodities." ( K. E. Boulding) In micro economics, we study the small segments of an economy or, in other words, we take up the individual decision – making units of an economy in microeconomics e.g., we analyze the demand of a product or often individual and the equilibrium price of a product rather than discussing the aggregate demand of the economy and the general price level in a country. Similarly in microeconomics, we study the determination of price/reward of a factor of production, analysis of an individual firm or industry, the consumption pattern of a person, choice of technique and different market situations etc. Microeconomics is generally called the “Price Theory”. • Production. In this part of microeconomics we study the meaning of the production of wealth, the cost of production and how it is minimized factor of production and their relative importance in the production process, the production function, the analysis of supply etc. • Exchange. This part covers the market mechanism or the exchange of wealth through the forces of demand and supply, perfect and imperfect market at the behavior of the competitors etc. • Distribution. This part starts with the theory...

...Volatility in Emerging Equity Market (Kse): The Relative Effects of Country and Global Factors Mohammad Faisal Rizwan* and Safi Ullah Khan** This paper focuses on the role of macroeconomic variables and global factors on the volatility of the stock returns in an emerging market like Pakistan. The paper uses two multivariate models, multivariate EGARCH and Vector Auto Regressive (VAR) models to investigate the effect of exchange rate, interest rate, industrial production, money supply, Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) World Index and 6-months LIBOR on stock prices in Pakistan’s equity market. The estimate shows that domestic macroeconomic variables have varying degrees of importance in explaining the relationship between stock returns and volatility in Karachi Stock Exchange. The empirical results also show that the two global factors, MSCI World Index and 6-months LIBOR, variables used in this paper explain the stock returns in KSE. An important conclusion drawn from the results is that macroeconomic variables exhibit asymmetric effects on returns volatility. Overall, the results show that Pakistan’s stock market is partially integrated as shown by the significant role of both country and global factors. Field of Research: Finance 1. Introduction Studies on the link between macroeconomic variables and stock returns are broadly divided into two groups based on the level of market integration. The first strand promotes the view that markets are generally integrated...
