(2011) “A strategy for diversity training: Focusing on empathy in the workplace”, Madera explains that managers and employees that were given surveys on training and posttest on non-English language shows significant effects on each individual. The author supports its statement by choosing random employees and managers to do surveys to prove that non-English speaking individuals are huge in the hospitality industry. The purpose of Madera is to test the effectives of diversity that leads to positive ways toward non-English individuals. Although, Madera seem concern on individuals speak non-English is getting less effective on communication in the industry.
