Abdullah’s death comes at a time when oil prices have drastically dropped and are the lowest they have been in several years. The current price for crude oil is hovering in the upper 40 dollars a barrel. Today on CNBC they released an article written by Tom DiChristopher (http://www.cnbc.com/id/102362872) in the article Tom goes over the political moves that are happening in Saudi Arabia after the Kings death and that his half-brother Crown Prince Salman has now assumed the throne. The article discusses the refusal to slow down production of oil, and what impact that is going to have on the countries in the oil industry. He goes on to tell us about the developments that are happening in Yemen and how in the next few months the situation between Yemen and Saudi Arabia could have large part in what happens to the prices of crude oil.
