Question 1 :
One of the most well-known game online in the past until now is the Ragnarok Online. For the Ragnarok Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game or MMORPG was created by GRAVITY Co., Ltd. It was first released in South Korea on 31 August 2001. Anyway, it also has been released in Thailand since September 2002 and imported by Asiasoft Corperation Co.,Ltd. That we mentioned before is that Ragnarok Online is MMORPG, therefore it has created relationship among gamers or players because player can select main character to represent themselves (Role-playing). Anyway, in each character will has different point in advantage and disadvantage in both skill and character status. Briefly, as I have experiences this game, it will encourage players to kill monsters and collect items and character’s experience for upgrading character’s status and skill that player has selected and for the level is started from level 0 to the highest level 99 when players can reach level at 99, it will have blue aura under foot of character that it is attractive thing as well and it has many characters and many classes of each character to upgrade you can find it in the figure in appendix part. Moreover players can decorate their character by their own style from equipment which is dropped from killing general monsters in the game or buy/exchange with other player, one activity of this game that is the most attractiveness to all players to join called “Guild War” normally, guild war will set on every Wednesday and Saturday from 19.00 PM. to 21.00 PM. That players will set a group of them highest member would not over than 56 players per one guild and they can fight among guild to take ownership of the castle in order to get rare items which could not find it from general monsters and MVP boss and its price is very expensive in this game such item’s name “Symbol of Solar God” which is needed to do Solar god helm item that is most expensive item. Moreover, the guild that can own its castle and protect its longest time during the event and result is all members in that guild will be representation of Thailand to complete with other countries such as Korea, Japan, USA and others countries.
In our opinions, we think that this game very popular for long time since started almost 8 years because it is a very interesting game especially in Guild War activity because all players can set the strategies to complete with their competitors to protect their castle and It will make a good relationship among players because some time only one guild cannot protect its castle, this game allow them to find more alliances at maximum is 4 alliances to help them protect their castle and they can share the reward among themselves that they could get it after finished event time. One more factors that this game can well-known and survive until now is that they have changed the marketing strategy to keep their customer because at the first time this game will charge to players by airtime fee that mean every players have to pay money for playing this game but nowadays in Thailand has a lot of game online that allow to play for free, so Ragnarok Online have to change its marketing strategy to charge to players by selling items mall that mean some players can play this game for free and if some players would like to have more convenience to play they have to re-fill the money and can buy items from items mall to help them to meet their target easily such as item about increasing experience from killing monsters or reduce experience reduction after character die from 5% to 3%, it can help players to reach highest level of character easier.
Finally, in term of Information technology we can prove that it can help the Asiasoft Corperation Co.,Ltd to provides a very good service to their customers by using it’s website to contact to their customers directly such as applied new ID game and moreover about very concerning issue of game players is login security service that company has coordinated with AIS company to offers service to all players for locking ID game via player’s mobile directly, player can send the message to AIS and indentify ID, Lock or Unlock which has been registered with Asiasoft Corperation Co.,Ltd both ID game and mobile phone no. in website of company previously.

Question 2 :

Reference to our research as the question 1, after Ragnarok game provider was very successes on the game online product. Therefore the Ragnarok online company has introduced a lot of new products placement for this game in order to increase their income, there are many kind of product that they offered to all game players in order to be representation of the game which are collected by game players who would like to collect it, the first of all products is Poring Doll this doll is very popular product and at that time during Ragnarok very popular it can soles at high volume because this doll is represented to Poring monsters which is a very cute monster in Ragnarok Online and this monster is a popular monster that game players can treat it as pet that game players have to give pet food to Poring pet every 10 minutes in order to keep relationship between players and their pet. Moreover this monster pet was designed very cute both picture and sound that is the main reason why game player would like to collect it as a favorite doll maybe it can make game players feel that they can have their pet all time even they are not online in this game. For the second replacement product of Ragnarok Online named is Ragnarok Sport Beverage (As the picture in appendix) this product is a sport beverage for game players who like to play sport, it is healthy beverage and it can make game players feel more powerful like a character in this game. For the third replacement product of Ragnarok Online is Ragnarok Battle Offline game, this product has been developed from main characters in original Ragnarok Online game and purpose of playing this Ragnarok offline game is very different from Ragnarok online game due to Ragnarok offline game all players can finish their playing in very short time maybe just 3 to 5 minutes for one game because Offline game is fighting versus game between 2 players and the result is 1 player will win and another one will lose and they can re-play again while original Ragnarok online game all players have to spend a lot of time to play to reach maximum level at level 99. Anyway, this Ragnarok Battle Offline game, players can play it anywhere even those places do not have connection such as no internet, no wifi or any connection and players would like to be in Ragnarok world, therefore the company would like to serve new replacement product in order to earn more income and more profit.

Question 3 :

One of the most popular comic is Popeye Comic that we would like to present, it has story about a middle-aged sailor named “Popeye” with a unique way of speaking, disproportionately muscular forearms with two anchor tattoos, thinning red hair, and an ever-present corncob pipe. Anyway, Popeye has also appeared in comic books, television cartoons, video, arcade and video games, hundreds of advertisements and pinball game. For legendary of Popeye that his strength from the earth, not directly in the manner of Atlas but indirectly through the consumption of a nutritionally spinach. And people who know about Popeye comic will perceive that spinach is a important food that will cause Popeye has powerful. In the 1930s, when the cartoon first became popular, spinach consumption increased by a third.
First product is spinach can “Popeye”, Gregory McNamee thought that he should took a hero to convince children of his generation to eat spinach because at that time children knew about Popeye and followed up this comic. So, he launched new product is spinach cans and used name is “Popeye”. Anyway, we think that it‘s not difficult to be successful in the this product because The communication of a popular comic with consumers is easy to perceive product’s value.
Second product is Popeye Flavored Water Beverage, The CTVX online store and website Alibaba.com were introduced product about Popeye brand “Popeye Flavored Water Beverage” it has 3 Flavors consist of Super Strawberry, Grape Cooler and Awesome Orange. In our group opinion, this product maybe not quite successful because the brand that producer would like to convince consumer is “Popeye” but normally, Popeye comic do not talk about water beverage much. If they can success on this product, it might be come from other factors such as prices, taste, healthy and quality.
Finally, in term of Information Technology, we think that both 2 products that we mentioned above can be success. They should use new technology to help them to promote their products such as using internet via web browser for advertizing such they should advertize their product in Popeye comic book, Popeye website, or Popeye club website. Anyway, it easy to promote their products because almost everyone already known about Popeye, they just introduce their product and try to link a good point of their product to Popeye comic. We believe that consumers will try to use their product easily.

Information is a data that is accurate and timely, specific and organized for a purpose, presented within a context that gives it meaning and relevance and can lead to an increase in understanding and decrease in uncertainty. ...Management Information Systems is the study of people, technology, organizations and the relationships among them. Today we use information systems at all levels of operation to collect, process and store data. Management aggregates and disseminates this data in the form of information needed to carry out the daily operations of a business. Everyone who works in any business, from someone who pays the bills to the person who makes employment decisions, uses information systems. A car dealership could use a computer database to keep track of which products sell best. A retail store might use a computer-based information system to sell products over the Internet. In fact, many businesses concentrate on the alignment of MIS with business goals to achieve competitive advantage over other businesses. MIS professionals create information systems for data management; examples include storing, searching and analyzing data. In addition, they manage various information systems to meet the needs of managers, staff and customers. Microsoft would be considered a MIS. For example, our textbook might have been created using Word. First, an author writes the content; other contributors and editors change, format, and edit the content, and then the content from a specific chapter can be integrated into the larger work. In this sense, Word is an effective tool in a management information system because it is facilitating the way a business operates. Think of the time and effort saved because...
