It wasn't until I would get home after practice that I understood the level of dedication it required to be able to do both of these sports while juggling honors classes. I was exposed to sailing during my middle school year; I was fortunate enough that my community offered free sailing lessons during the summer and I made it a mission for my mom to sign me up.
