Mia Hamm also known as Mariel Margaret Hamm, was an elite soccer player that for the United States women’s professional soccer team for 17 years. She was a member of the team when they won the World Cup in 1991 and 1999. She was also a Gold Medal winner in the 1996 and 2004 Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia and Athens, Greece.
