1. INTRODUCTION
This is actually a study of the relationship between work and family. The write-up dwells on the realm of the interface of work and family roles and conflict among married earner couples in Anambra state. According to Ahmad (2008), there are empirical evidences that show that work-family conflict is often a severe stress factor at work leading to various negative outcomes, including impaired well-being. Many people experience increased levels of stress and conflict as they juggle work and parenting responsibilities. This reality is a pointer to the fact that there will always be the inevitable presence of spillover from family to work and vice versa. This is a situation found among married couples who work.
