“You cannot climb the ladder of success with your hands in your pockets.” In the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, Mark Drusdow was an adjunct at UNCG and Highpoint University. Being an adjunct meant that he taught at the different institutions, but was not a full time faculty member at either of the schools. That being said, when my brother was born he needed a steady, full-time job. He took a position as a consultant which involved working with companies around the world, but what it also involved was a small amount of teaching. This job of course made him travel extensively. He had this position for about eight years, and eventually decided that he wanted to be a full-time teacher. His heart was in teaching kids, whether it was at college level
