Marketing Mix and the elements used provides structure to any organization. The nature and scope of marketing mix is a direction toward satisfying needs of consumers. Within each one of the four elements they detail order and strategies used to gain business. The elements used are product, place, price and promotion. All are implemented in a different ways to show some of the importance of marketing. Within all the elements there is need for complete control in gaining competitive advantage and competing goals of the organization. Marketing mix gives you and opportunity to explore many avenues to success. Moreover the collaboration of all four elements gives stability to the overall efforts to obtain value .Products of the services are the physical marks that show the difference to the competitors’. There are many assets to working more on the product. Having good products that customer are satisfied with promotes the abilities to gain customer loyalty. The way in which you determine the final price, is certainly a way to compete with competitors for gaining more business. Place refers to the exactly where your business sells the product. This is a key component in gaining the customers attention within the operation. Lastly the promotion involves evaluating the target customers through the products that the organization has. All of these elements are tactical towards developing the service needed. Marriott International is a large organization that has thousands of hotels in the United States. This organization all started with an idea to open up a root beer stand in Washington Dc.J. Willard Marriott and his wife discovered this in 1927.Over the years Marriott has done some major restructuring in which; they are now part of the Ritz Carlton and Sunrise Senior Living. This has helped them to increase profits in very high numbers. The Globalization is one of the major strategies that drive them to complete success within the organization. While having hotels in Asia, Latin America and Europe. Marriott strives to commit to building loyalty with guest that stay in their hotels. Organizational mission is to make sure every guest leaves satisfies. In staying in competition Marriott has four brands of hotels, they are full service lodging, select service lodging, extended stay lodging and time share. Customer demands are essential to Marriott’s reputation to uphold. Within all of these hotels there are certain standards put in place that all have to abide by in order to operate. Thus, threw maintain the struggles of the economy. Marriott has also come up with many programs that influence the nation’s economy through the fiscal policy to help with government, expenditures and taxation. Most of all Marriott uses all forces to structure to operation of the organization. Within working to get your marketing mix correct for your product of service defines that you’re covering every area of concern toward marketing. The product of service accommodates needs of the hotel guest with Marriott. There are different products of services provided by Marriot hotels. This is because of the level of service given throughout all the different hotels. All in which work to provide comfort and value to every single guest. One example of product is the luxury bedding that is provided. As well as the feather free pillows and fresh clean linen every day of your stay. Other products include a wide range of fine coffees and teas in the room. The product of service offers needs that meet the demands and existing market demands. The pricing that you set for your product and service has a significant impact in the marketability. This is because the market prices change often. Because of the competitors in the area,The organization has to keep up in order to survive. Pricing of Marriot organizations depends on were you would decide to stay. The larger hotels such as Marriot Key Center in downtown Cleveland, Ohio is a full service Marriott hotel that provides many services to the guest. Some of the services include full service restaurants that serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and room service. Other services include transportation, fitness center, pool facilities, dry cleaning, pet services and twenty four hour guest service. Therefore the cost of this hotel is about two hundred fifty dollars a night. Other hotels like the Courtyard Marriott and the Fairfield Inn hotels are at a lower price because of the smaller accommodations. Most of all these are all based on the market within the area of the hotel. Marriott reputation remains to stay the same whereas the pricing does not change to much. Within the way the customer can obtain a product or receive a service refers to the place. Generally the places where the Marriott Hotels are mark territories where there is a high business volume. Moreover, when you find one Marriot hotel in the area of business. Then there is another one of the brand hotels close by. Consequently all of the hotels are designed to meet the business needs of customers; such as meeting room space and even rooms to have small events. Most of all within the marketing the organization looks to put Marriott’s in places where they predict the most business. Promotion is involved with getting people to no more about your product or services. This is mainly through advertisement, word of mouth, public relations and point of sale. Many times this conveys the closing of the information gap. With possible sellers and people that might buy through franchishing.Some of Marriott’s promotion is done through the internet as well as there very experienced sales team. Other promotions efforts have much to do with their reputation to providing exceptional service to every guest. There overall model is to have the sprit to serve everyone who patronizes all of their hotel brands. Promotion efforts of this organization have work well with making them one of the best hotel chains all over the world. Marketing mixes serves as a guide to cover the complete basis of the organization. These elements are all essential to the business. A Marriott hotel uses all of these mixes to form great customer’s service. Product, place, price and promotion all work together within any organization to strategies and different tactics. Organizational success ultimately depends on some of the marketing approaches. Marketing mixes provide what is needed to satisfy the organizations mission. Marriott’s hotels development is worldwide and they work to strategies on any and every opportunity to satisfy guest. Another tactic that is used is done through the Marriott rewards system. This system is done through providing more benefits to frequent travelers who stay in there hotel. The points are earned by every dollar spent within your stays. Therefore, the more business travel that you have this benefits you for your own personal use. However, this is another way in which they promote there hotel. Within my understanding many people save there Marriott rewards points for travel with there family’s. This tactic used provides some stability to gaining customer satisfaction and repeat guest .Within many of there hotels all over the world.
