...1. INTRODUCTION Financial analysis is defined as the process of discovering economic facts about an enterprise of a project on the basis of an interpretation of financial data. It also seeks to look at the capital cost, operations cost and operating revenue. It is vital for assessing the performance of the company and hence provides valuable information to the investors and to the company for future references. Financial Analysis is the process of evaluating businesses and other finance-related entities to determine their suitability for investment. Typically, financial analysis is used to analyze whether an entity is stable, solvent, liquid, or profitable enough to be invested in. One of the most common ways of analyzing financial data is to calculate ratios from the data to compare against those of other comparable companies. In Infinancials, financial ratios are categorized according to the financial aspect of the business which the ratio measures: Profitability, Asset Utilization, Capital Structure on a specific tab, Financial Ratios.
