Winter is the most beautiful time of the year for the people of Matfus Mountain. They look forward to it because of the Christmas holiday. Even Mayor Matfus, an extremely likable (adj) woman, esteems(Unit 2) it a privilege to be the leader of a small town where the people are usually friendly(adj) and caring(adj). One winter night on Matfus Mountain, Kyan, a hostile resident, was thinking (v) of doing some obnoxious acts to defy the townspeople of Matfus Mountain, which could change their lives in a negative way.
It was the first Monday in December. However, it was no ordinary Monday. The streets were quiet, as if no one lived there. Kyan would not be a derelict and…show more content… When they looked at their trees smiles manifested on their faces. Everyone got a present, even people without christmas trees, or ones who don't even believe even believe in Christmas. Then it hit them. Kyan had brought the presents as Santa and the electricity had started working. The inert town had become vociferous, never before has a Christmas spectacle like this happened before. And so, Kyan was no longer a vagrant and the town's anger had been abated. The town was once again happy. Though people like Mayor Matfus still ridiculed Kyan though only as to admonish (Unit 1) him from doing anything foolish ever
