There is three answers that w are given and to determine each answer's percentage you need to do a few steps: First, like finding the mode of a set of data you want to count up the results and once you've done that, separate them into groups based on each option. You then count up the total for each and divide by the sum or total of all the answers. This gives you the percentage or frequency that the particular answer has in the data set. So, to summarize, a frequency table displays the percentage of the total each portion represents to put into perspective what each portion really represents.

In this table, female and male responses to and for intimate aggression are being compared to one another to shed light on the subject. It may look confusing but it is quite simple, to form a frequency table you need a data set that has similarities and differences. Akin to a Venn diagram, a frequency table pairs similar pieces of information together and separates the pieces that do not match to another group in which they do. The results in this table show that women have more control motives than males for perpetrators but for comparisons they are roughly equal to each other.
