Our goal is to integrate these two objectives in a supplement for the text Finite Mathematics and Its Applications, by Goldstein, Schneider, and Siegel. The package consists of interactive tutorials and projects in an Excel workbook format. The software platform used is the Microsoft Excel 5.0 spreadsheet.
