Both The McKinney–Vento Homeless Assistance Act and The Head Start Program are created to help the low-income and homeless people. The both programs have almost the same goal, which is reduce the poverty and improve the welfare. In fact, the Head Start program was established before The McKinney–Vento Homeless Assistance Act. They should increase the funds to cover all demands. Also, finding solutions to the causes of homelessness is better than focus on emergency situations. That was the first goal, which is resolving homelessness. In fact, the McKinney-Vento Act is needed now more than ever to reduce the number of the homeless and long-term plan with response for any emergency situations.
