The website states that meditation is an approach to training the mind. Since meditation is the process of clearing the mind. The article talks about different types of meditation techniques. There are instructions for beginners to try meditation for 2 to 3 minutes. The article tells you how long you should meditate for and gives step by step instructions on how to meditate.
Two interesting facts: In Buddhist philosophy, the ultimate benefit of meditation is liberation of the mind from attachment of things it cannot control.
I found it interesting that there are moving forms of meditation like tai chi, chi kung and walking meditation. The article says to meditate in a dark room, all the other websites I have explored did not mention to meditate in a dark room.
I states that able to feel your hands or any other part of your body you are in the present moment and not lost in memories.
What happened after you tried each technique?

When doing the technique I had to start over a few time, my mind kept wondering and I was not able to refocus on my breathing. Once I was able to so the techniques I felt a relaxing affect over my entire body. I had trouble doing this meditation technique. I was able to do the breathing and feeling my shoulders drop and relax but I was unable to focus enough to be able to feel my hand or other parts of my body.
