Based on the article and information in my graphic organizer I believe that Van Jones and Shaka Senghor do make a credible argument. I know this because the central idea of the article is how Meek Mill has been charged and sentenced to prison for many reasons and are beginning to be treated unfairly and tried with cruel punishment. One example from the article that shows the author’s do have have a good argument is when they explained how Mill has been treated poorly by the judge. I know this because in the article it says “when she arrived, she found out he was sorting clothes instead of serving food to the homeless”. It also says in the same paragraph that Mill was assigned to sort clothes and he explained that to the judge but she still got mad and said he failed to follow her orders yet again.
