Mel Levine's Essay No Escape From Helicopter Parents

The essay “No Escape From Helicopter Parents” is a traditional argument due to the fact that it is a single-perspective argument. Collin supports his claim by adding to his essay a quote from Mel Levine stating “He thinks children are being coddled to a degree that threatens their ability later in life strife off on their own” (Carroll, 35). I do agree with this essay. Parents today shelter their children, doing things for them that when they get into the real world and mom or dad is not there to save them from a problem they can not personally handle it. At the end of the day you are really hurting them instead of helping them.
