This memo is to address are current maintain cost for all in-house servers and licensing, currently are yearly I.T cost are $123,324. This cost covers support and upgrades to local hardware. This year we hope to limit to cut down on internal spending by exporting all software to the “cloud”. Current cloud services are delivered remotely off site and just require an internet connect and lightweight local system.

We are current looking at two company to provide are hosting on is Citrix and adobe; between these two companies they will be able to supply all are need, plus allow for future growth. I have also on lined some key features that will benefit us in moving to the cloud.
• Cost-reduction: With all the software and hardware we need off site we do not need to maintain a large internal data center or support contacts, as well are desktop do not need to be refreshed yearly.

• Flexibility: We can pick what we need within the cloud so we are not limited in packages, also it is multi-platform compatible, and can be accessed from anywhere. this also means work can be done offsite without lose in efficiency.

• Reliability: The knowledge in knowing that as long as there is network connect all software will always be there with 24/7 support. This will allow is internal staff to focus on future project pressing to the company itself.

Are current initial transfer and cutover cost is $324,342 for all systems and hardware, in turn for this high cost we get lifetime free upgrades; meaning are software is upgraded without change in cost, we get online cloud storage as well . Just between these two benefits, we save on new software releases as well as SAN storage and support.

I do believe the cloud is best solution moving

...FROM THE AUTHOR OF THE BESTSELLING BIOGRAPHIES OF BENJAMIN FRANKLIN AND ALBERT EINSTEIN, THIS IS THE EXCLUSIVE BIOGRAPHY OF STEVE JOBS. Based on more than forty interviews with Jobs conducted over two years—as well as interviews with more than a hundred family members, friends, adversaries, competitors, and colleagues—Walter Isaacson has written a riveting story of the roller-coaster life and searingly intense personality of a creative entrepreneur whose passion for perfection and ferocious drive revolutionized six industries: personal computers, animated movies, music, phones, tablet computing, and digital publishing. At a time when America is seeking ways to sustain its innovative edge, Jobs stands as the ultimate icon of inventiveness and applied imagination. He knew that the best way to create value in the twenty-first century was to connect creativity with technology. He built a company where leaps of the imagination were combined with remarkable feats of engineering. Although Jobs cooperated with this book, he asked for no control over what was written nor even the right to read it before it was published. He put nothing offlimits. He encouraged the people he knew to speak honestly. And Jobs speaks candidly, sometimes brutally so, about the people he worked with and competed against. His friends, foes, and colleagues provide an unvarnished view of the passions, perfectionism, obsessions, artistry, devilry, and compulsion for control that shaped his approach to business and...
