1. Metacom’s War was a fight for a way of life for both Native Americans and for Puritans. Explain how and why.
The Metacom War started when tensions spilling over following the collapse of trade partnerships and aggressive expansion of colonist territories. The fighting lasted fourteen months and destroyed twelve frontier towns, ending shortly after Metacom was captured and beheaded. Some of his supporters relocated Canada, while the ones who surrendered were sold into slavery including Metacom’s wife and child.
2. Justify the Pueblo Revolt in New Mexico.
The Pueblo Revolt in New Mexico in 1680, occurred in New Mexico formerly known as Pueblo Region back then. The Spanish came into the premises and tried to forcefully convert Christianity.
