What is the difference between a leader and a manager? Please provide examples

Managers (also subordinate to someone else) holds an authority position that a business vests upon them; they have subordinates to work for them. The essence of a manager is stability, the focus of a manager is managing the work, usually short-term, seeks to accomplish objectives. and plans detail. Managers make decisions, have formal authority, thinks with their head, controlling situations, reactive in dynamics, transactional styles, works for money, looks for actions and results, minimizing risks, and makes rules. Managers avoid conflicts, travels the path provided, establishes truth, concerned with being “right”, taking credit and pointing blame. An example would be a manager of a restaurant who has subordinates (those working under the manager). They follow the procedures and policies laid out before them. Leaders have followers not subordinates and give up formal authoritarian control. The essence of a leader is change, the focus of a manager is leading people, long-term, seeking visions, and sets the directional course of actions. Leaders facilitate decisions, has personal charisma, thinks with their heart, is passionate, proactive, excitement for work, strives to achieve, and takes risks. Leaders break the rules, paves new roads, seeks for the truth, concerned with what is right, gives credit where credit is due and takes the blame instead of placing it. An example would a leader would be an activist because they have those who follow because of the passion and dedication for change, taking risks, and striving for what is true and
