Scenario I
In this scenario informal communication channel would ensue. My opinion is that this channel is an excellent choice for this situation the reason is this would offer immediate feedback and offer a goal with a deadline. The reasoning for this form of communication is to provide feedback to upper management, which would lead toward progress in achieving higher goals and relay any issues that may occur in help resolve these issues (Robbins & Judge, (11) pp344-345).
Scenario II
In this scenario formal e-mail communication was recommended for contacting the IT department. This is the most efficient was for this type of situation. The reasoning for this is this type of communication follows company procedure for the technical support department also this form of communication can be quickly written and sent right away. This type of downward communication is best suited when employees want to communicate with other employees or management wants information sent to a large number of employees. This type keeps employees informed and offers security by requiring users to create a username and password (Robbins & Judge (11) p.p. (344, 351).
