Business English
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Business English is English language especially related to international trade. It is a part of English for Specific Purposesand can be considered a specialism within English language learning and teaching; for example, the teachers' organisationIATEFL has a special interest group called BESIG. Many non-native English speakers study the subject with the goal of doing business with English-speaking countries, or with companies located outside the Anglosphere but which nonetheless use English as a shared language or lingua franca. Much of the English communication that takes place within business circles all over the world occurs between non-native speakers. In cases such as these, the object of the exercise is efficient and effective communication. The strict rules of grammar are in such cases sometimes ignored, when, for example, a stressed negotiator's only goal is to reach an agreement as quickly as possible. (See linguist Braj Kachru's theory of the "expanding circle".)
Business English means different things to different people. For some, it focuses on vocabulary and topics used in the worlds of business, trade, finance, and international relations. For others it refers to the communication skills used in the workplace, and focuses on the language and skills needed for typical business communication such as presentations, negotiations, meetings, small talk, socializing, correspondence, report writing, and a systematic approach. In both of these cases it can be taught to native speakers of English, for example, high school students preparing to enter the job market.
Business English is a variant of international English. One can study it at a college or university. Institutes around the world have courses or modules in BE available, which can lead to a degree in

Olive Avenue Porterville, CA 93257 Dear Ms. Pichay: I am writing to inform you about how it is hard for filipinos in the city of Porterville to be accepted into society. It is hard for any race to be socially accepted in this country. There are so much criteria that you have to pass to even be considered into society. You have to look a certain way, act a certain way, talk a certain way, etc. To be honest, I don't even know if I am socially accepted because I don't pass a certain criteria. If it's hard for me, then I can't imagine what it must feel like for another person in my race. If you are filipino, it is especially hard to get accepted into society because we're different from other people. We have different values and outlooks on life. I want to know what you are going to do to fix this issue in the city of Porterville. There are a lot of filipinos, teenagers especially, that will do anything to get accepted into society. We want to be accepted by everyone because we want them to like us. We care about what other people think about us because that's just how we are. I know I am like that because if someone doesn't like me, then I will do anything to get them to like me. Filipinos have a difficult time getting accepted because we look or act differently compared to other races. When someone looks at me, I feel their eyes judging me and I don't want to feel like that anymore because I get really...

The biggest sports fans would have to be football; they go all out for their team. People plan their day around the game by getting to the field to barbeque and tailgate before the game. Most of the time it will be two to three hours before the game. Even some times people will just get to the stadium to tailgate and be in the atmosphere of everyone else and not go into the game because they don’t have tickets. Football fans are crazy they will throw parties in the parking lot before and after the games. ...Forever 21 a Global Company The global retailer that I have chosen is Forever 21 because they are a well-known retailer. Forever 21 is a well-known chain store and mostly targets young teenage to college age women. The store was founded in Los Angeles, California in 1984 by Do Won Chang and his wife Jin Sook Chang. The first fast fashion store opened in April 21 in 1984 and has grown nationally and globally since then. The market for Forever 21 has grown drastically within the past couple of years and they have ventured from just women and men’s clothes. Forever 21 carries a very wide assortment of merchandise and now caters to children and plus size women. The fashions of Forever 21 have a lower price point than most other chain stores so the fact that they are affordable items to attain and manufacturing is cheaper it is easier to expand their stores across the globe. Forever reaches its audience mobile all across the glove via the Forever 21 app because the CRM enables the brand to research their consumers by knowing their demographics and what they like and catering to the consumer and allowing interactions with the brand to be easier. “We’re looking to scale our online and mobile business faster, drive more return on ad spend and increase revenue through paid channels. Eleanor Rigby

...Professor Wilson September 6, 2015 “Eleanor Rigby” This song was written for many purposes in my opinion. I can see numerous themes as I read through the lyrics. The first theme that I noticed is the literal meaning. I could evaluate this from the very first line of the song. It states, “ah look at all the lonely people” (Beatles). Literally, I interpret this as meaning that there are many lonely people in this world. People who have no one to share their lives with but also people who choose to keep all their feelings inside of them. These lonely people shelter themselves from others emotionally and won’t let anyone get the chance to know them. I have seen this quite often growing up. I feel as if The Beatles may have been referring to both of these types of people: physically alone and emotionally drawn people. I believe that there are more meanings to the lyrics in this song though. I can see this song referring to religion as well. This song states that, “Father McKenzie, writing the words of a sermon that no one will hear no one comes near” and “no one was saved” (Beatles). I feel as if a powerful message is said here to the religious listeners of this song. Do I think this song is attacking the religious values of some? That might possibly be the case, however, I can see the argument in an array of spectrums. Lastly, a theme that stood out to me is when the song stated, “wearing the face that she keeps in a jar by the door” (Beatles). I think that some people...
