...advertising agency, which was set up by Volney Palmer in Boston in 1841, introduced the commission system to the business by offering a discount of 25% on ad space in newspapers. This move marked the formal beginning of space selling. Initially, most ad agencies were nothing more than brokers for ad space in newspapers. Advertisers created their own ads. N.W. Ayer & Son became the first full-service agency in 1869. One of the earliest highly successful advertising campaigns was launched by Pears Soap. In the late 19th century, Thomas Barratt, whom many consider the father of modern advertising, launched a series of ads featuring children, animals, flowers, and beautiful women to promote the company's products (Roshan Tolan, 2014). From the micro level, the impact of advertising seems to be mainly between the enterprises and consumers, and from the macro level, it also shapes our social forms today. The influence and function of the advertisement to the enterprise: the production of the advertisement is to improve the bad situation of the information of the seller and the buyer in the market environment of the commodity economy. Advertising is essentially a means of marketing communication, so its most basic function is to convey information to the target audience, in order to influence the target audience's attitude and behavior. 1 communication and marketing information to promote the sale of goods Today's market economy system is built on the basis of social production in the global...

...personal computer - the mass-market computer, Microsoft truly brought computing to the masses. For the first time, the elderly, the young, and the technically illiterate were empowered to use computers. Although computers still betrayed some of their arcane origins of a time when computing was the real of those with genius IQs and degrees in mathematics, the computer was now almost as much a part of the home as the television and the microwave. This was achieved by always providing what the market needed. The Microsoft formula was to pile 'em high and sell 'em cheap. This formula was applied again and again over the years, slashing the price of software until everyone could afford it. Microsoft's success came through out-maneuvering the competition. Revolutionary was the approach that said that a spreadsheet, which at one would have cost over a thousand dollars, could be sold for a fraction of the price. This approach drove the computing revolution of the 80s and the net revolution of the 90s. Microsoft's aggressive approach made computing far more affordable, leading to today's society, where we truly can afford to have a computer on every desk. While competitors floundered - as IBM pursued their lumbering corporate path, as Apple chose to marginalize themselves by charging a premium for their product, and as the Unix vendors were tied to standardization committees and relics from the 60s - Microsoft recognized the potential of computing for the masses. By the launch of Windows...

...study of Tata Nano car technology has demonstrated the fact that how a technological revolution has taken place in Automobile sector by the introduction of Tata Nano car in the market. It is 2 feet shorter than a Mini Cooper, has a comical appearance and weighs less than the four passengers it seats. But for the 350-millionplus middle class of India, Tata Nano, the world's cheapest car at $2,000, is a cause for exhilaration and for the first 100,000 lucky customers drawn via lottery, it's a dream come true. A century after Henry Ford put America on wheels with the Model T; the affordable Tata Nano is doing the same to the less privileged of the world. What is now dismissed by many as a "toy car" could soon reveal itself to be the mouse that roared, one of the most transformational consumer products of the century. Roughly 100,000 Indians lose their lives on the road every year, seven times the rate of the developed world. In a country where it is not uncommon to see entire families overflowing a rickshaw or women in saris sitting side-saddle on a bike with small children on their laps, moving one's family from an unsafe bike into a plastic capsule is a sensible $2,000 investment. Safety and affordability were what Ratan Tata, chairman of the Tata Group, envisioned for the Nano. The low sticker price means a 65 percent increase in the number of Indian families who can now afford a car. But India is not the only hub of poverty and what works for its middle class...
