Minerva Mirabal was a brave, and fearless girl. She was really brave and wanted the best for herself. She believed that a woman can be as powerful as a man. Minerva wanted to leave the city and attend boarding school. She was a very determined woman and she wanted to change things for the best. She was considered as a rebel because she was different and she was daring. She didn’t care about what anybody said that went against her dream.

She was a beautiful young lady and was noticed a lot by her beauty. Trujillo was engaged by it and tried to throw himself upon her.
