Minerva Mirabal was a brave, and fearless girl. She was really brave and wanted the best for herself. She believed that a woman can be as powerful as a man. Minerva wanted to leave the city and attend boarding school. She was a very determined woman and she wanted to change things for the best. She was considered as a rebel because she was different and she was daring. She didn’t care about what anybody said that went against her dream.
She was what you call the black sheep of the family. She wanted better for herself and had a need to succeed in life. When Minerva went to the dance she encountered Trujillo. She was a beautiful young lady and was noticed a lot by her beauty. Trujillo was engaged by it and tried to throw himself upon her.
