he Minotaur sat in his labyrinth and started to get angry. Every day he sat in his maze of a prison. All alone. It wasn’t his fault, not really. He blamed Hera and the rest of those God forsaken, well gods. He hated to live like this. If he ever smelled a god he would destroy it.
The prison was never ending. He hated his stupid brain. The only things he ever felt was hatred and anger towards the gods that made him miserable. He wanted to cave their skulls in, but he knew they wouldn’t die. They would live forever.
So one day he started to think, which was rare. He may not be able to kill a god but maybe he could kill their kids. He got treats every nine years,and they would come tomorrow, one eventually had to be a demigod. All this thinking …show more content…
This was the day he could get his revenge on the gods that made him what he is.
“What in Olympus was that?” he yelled
The man turned in front of the Minotaur. The beast charged.
“Father Poseidon, help me.” he mumbled to himself
He sidestepped, but the Minotaur's horn grazed his side.
“AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH,” He yelled’ “Idiotic beast!”
They grappled for hours until the warrior finally thought to use his advantage, wisdom. The Minotaur kept on charging and the warrior kept on sidestepping, trying to come up with a plan. Then it hit him, he had no sword no weapon, but the minotaur had two.
He charged the beast. He grabbed his left horn with both hands and yanked. With a loud CRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAK the horn came off.
“Hrmmmmmmm, Hrmmmmmmmm, Hrmmmmmmmm!” the minotaur backed up crying
“Oh, you want it back” He said calmly, “why didn't you say so, oh wait, you can’t!”
He stabbed the horn in the poor Minotaur’s forehead. With a loud scream. The beast fell to the ground. The creature’s blood puddled around the young warrior’s sandals.
“GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, It will take hours to get that stain out!” he yelled as he repeatedly kicked the dead monster.
The warrior had a stupid smile on his face. On the ground was the beast’s horn. He picked it

Strength, courage, and fortitude are just a few characteristics addressed in mythology. The archetypal layout of an exemplary story is composed of the Twelve Stages. The Twelve Stages of a hero’s journey are the steps every person must take in order to prove one’s self as a hero. Mythical heroes such as Theseus, Sigurd, and Beowulf clearly demonstrate the archetypal qualities of a hero. A typical hero is seen as a morally just individual, with a noticeably ethical intent. An archetypal quality of a hero is moral goodness. The hero is always opposing evil and wrong-doing, while attempting his best to halt it. The hero is selfless always willing to give his life in place of another. A villain, or monster, is the opposed force of the hero, whose intent is solely based around a malicious and self-centered motive. The shadow-self of a character is often portrayed as the villain, or monster, but it has a much greater importance. The shadow-self illustrates the two extremes of a personality.
