My favourite movie.

Miracle In Cell Number 7. A grievous movie can actually touch and inspire our senses to the fullest. The storyline of any movie should be able to captivate the hearts of those who watch it. It is filled with sorrow but it is also infused with laughter to create a balance and variety in the plot. The movie that had impressed and moved me was a Korean movie entitled “Miracle In Cell No. 7” . Thus, I absolutely favour this movie because it exposes to me many emotions, keeps me motivated and has moral value.

The story starts when a father, Yong go follows a child that wants to show him the backpack that he is going to buy to his daughter, Yae Sung, but the child then dies in a freak accident. When he tries to resuscitate her, a woman witnesses him and mistakenly thinks he was molesting her. Yong Go is imprisoned to Cell No. 7. The most hurting moment is the last meeting between father and daughter before Yong Go is sentenced to death. I can barely breath when I hear her screams to call his father. Before his trial, Yong Go is physically and mentally abused by the police’s commissioner. Hence, he is forced to take blame for the action that he is purely innocent of.

Secondly, I personally love this movie because it keeps me motivated and enthusiastic. This is because, I could see that the police takes advantage of his disability. My heart revolted when the court rules that he is to be sentenced to death. Twenty years later, Yae Sung becomes a lawyer and proves to the court that her father is innocent. So, the justice prevailed. This shows that her love to her father strongly motivated her to become an attorney to clear her father’s name.

Thirdly, the movie Miracle In Cell No. 7 has moral value in it. For example, when Yong Go was imprisoned to Cell No. 7, he

Miracles: How They Do Not Violate Nature

...April 28, 2009 Miracles: How They Do Not Violate Nature For centuries, the validity of miracles has been debated on by countless philosophers. Of these philosophers, some are religious and others both materialist and atheist. Some materialists, who argue against the existence of miracles, believe that the world is purely physical and that nothing can possibly happen outside the laws of nature. The theistic philosophers reply with the statement that science cannot explain everything simply because the art was founded by us humans who are, by definition, imperfect. So the implication shows science to have inherited man’s imperfections. Science is completely logical, but it cannot explain the nature of everything since there are always undiscovered concepts and laws to be found. Among these phenomena are miracles. Contrary to materialist beliefs, miracles do not violate the real laws of science because the laws that we are referring to are the ones that man, in all his imperfections, compiled. God created all the laws of science of which many have never yet been discovered. So logic would tell us that we cannot be for certain that supernatural events violate any natural laws, but certainly these events do not have to violate any natural law to be miracles. First off, today’s use of the word miracle is inherently misused. It is commonly used by speakers to describe a wonderful event that he believes his audience should feel the same way about. Using the word miracle and other philosophically...

Throughout the course of history, as these advancements are discovered, people look past the cons that these advancements could bring if not controlled. Antibiotics, often called the “miracle drug,” are widely proclaimed because of the countless varieties there are and the variety of diseases they cure and treat. Four out of every five Americans have used one type of antibiotic to treat common infections such as strep throat and even life threatening infections such as pneumonia (CBS/AP 2013). Bacterial infections that were previously incurable are now things of the past and “superbugs” that have risen from different strains of antimicrobial resistant bacteria are becoming threats of the future. Antibiotics have saved and helped the lives of millions worldwide, however, the commonly abused drugs are becoming a threat to the natural world. Antibiotics are chemical substances produced by microorganisms which destroy or prevent the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms (McGrew 22). In 1928, Alexander Fleming, a Scottish bacteriologist, accidentally unearthed...

A General Review of Tetracyclines Antibiotics

...A General Review of Tetracyclines Antibiotics Chang Liu Instructor: Prof. Jasson Sello Department of Chemistry, Brown University Providence 02906, RI Tetracyclines are the first broad-spectrum antibiotic to be applied to clinic use. Nevertheless, the increasing incidence of bacterial resistance of tetracyclines led to a series of studies on the development of semisynthetic tetracyclines to circumvent the resistant organisms. In order to better design the structures of tetracycline derivatives, research on the action mode of tetracyclines, mechanisms of resistance, biosynthesis and total synthesis of tetracyclines were also performed. It's both a humorous and heart-wrenching film that shows how cruel and unfair a society can be to those who are intellectually impaired or should I say mentally handicapped.
