1. Introduction

2.1. Purpose:
The purpose of this essay is to discuss Stress and Wellbeing I have experienced this year by tracking my stressors with regard to how they began and how they can be resolve.

2.2. Wellbeing:
Wellbeing is the state in which the body, mind and soul are in a healthy condition for us to work towards continuously staying healthy or to improve ourselves (Ereaut & Whiting, 2008).

2.3. Relevance of the different life dimensions:
Mental health and EAP and Work-Family Initiatives are the life dimensions that shall link to the stresses that I am experiencing at the moment, they are relevant because they shall assist to helping me find a way in which I can control my stress to benefit my wellbeing.

2.4. Main argument:
The two main topics for discussion would be Mental health and Spiritual health dimensions and how these are relevant to identifying and understanding the cause of my stress and finding a solution to alleviate the stress. The life events and stress score show the recordings of my stress which shall be addressed.

2. Content related to life events and stress score

Using the Life Events and Stress Score I have realised that I am highly stressed and it is all due to symptoms that should have been fixed before they became as bad as they are now. The content reflects that what I have been doing to me has had a very negative impact on my wellbeing and if I do not combat it now it shall escalate to a point that is beyond my control.

3.5. Life dimensions:
The two main life dimensions that shall be discussed are Mental health and Spiritual health, theses dimensions are important to me because they are the dimensions I have been neglecting in my wellbeing and as a result I have been suffering due to my neglect of them. Duff (2010) stated that Mental health is essential for the wellbeing of a person because the brain is a powerful tool that the mind operates and it needs to be healthy physically and mentally to operate effectively. Sheep (2006) asserts that spirituality is the essence of the soul that generates life that nurtures the wellbeing of an individual.

3.6. Life dimensions and their importance:
Mental health: Mental health is the wellbeing of the brain and mind, in order for a human to function properly (Duff, 2010). They need their brain because it is the organ that harbours the mind and helps to interpret their experiences through life as well as validate the wellbeing of a person (Greenglass, Stokes & Fiksenbaum, 2005).
Spiritual health: Spiritual health is the wellbeing of the soul of a human (Sheep, 2006). Humans have spiritual health to benefit the wellbeing of their souls (Kinjerski & Skrypnek, 2004). Spirituality is the life essence of one’s soul and people need it to harbour their humanity (Kinjerski & Skrypnek, 2004).

3.8. Other theories and perspectives on the life dimensions:
Mental health: * Maslow’s hierarchy of needs is a descriptive theory of the basic needs that humans need to survive (Chandler, Holden & Kolander, 2002). Chandler et al (2002) asserts that Maslow’s theory encompassed the wellbeing of a human being which includes mental wellbeing where all the other needs need to be fore filled for the mentality to be healthy.
Spiritual health: * Skok, Harvey & Reddihough, (2006) state that spirituality is the life essence of the soul that is meant to help with the wellbeing of a human. Skok, Harvey & Reddihough, (2006) assert that spirituality is the fundamental aspect that help put together people and to make people unique dependant on how they receive spiritual enlightenment.

3.9. Analysis and evaluation of theories in the context of own experience:

Mental health experiences:
Chandler et al (2002) assert that through Maslow’s hierarchy of needs people can find it possible to have their basic needs for filled to have themselves in good health. I remember reading to help me see different outlooks on life, I found it comforting and developed a motivation to experience the world through travel to enjoy life, however through a series of unfortunate events I lead myself to think negatively and thus find myself in an unhappy mental position which could lead me to madness.
Spiritual health experiences:
Skok, Harvey & Reddihough, (2006) state that spirituality can be sought in different places and people can obtain it differently. In my experience I remember to be truly happy when I used to paint and draw, I found absolute happiness in my art and I believe that through that and my belief and faith in God used to help me to be spiritually contented.

3.11. Explanation of how strategies/ goal were achieved for improvement:

Fatigue: I have been suffering from fatigue which has made me an insomniac, I struggle sleeping most nights of the week due to the hours I put into school and work as well as the hours I still need to make for friends, family. I need to cut my hours at work and I have started to go back into a routine of proper sleep, I have also managed to spend more time for myself and others who wanted my attention.

Disconnectedness: I have been feeling spiritually and mentally disconnected from myself; I have been neglecting myself from the things that give me joy and in the process have lost the fore filled person I was.

Guilt: I have been feeling guilty because I have been lying about my aspirations to my parents, because they do not accept them and it hurts me that they do not believe in my dreams as well as lying to them whilst I try pursuing them behind their backs. I am still trying to find a way for them to accept what I want to stop lying to them as well.

Uncertainty: I have been fearful of what direction I want to go to have the future I want. I have been letting the uncertainty stress me and it has put a strain on my wellbeing as a whole. I feel I need to start meditation because in the past it has helped me to overcome most of the uncertainty I was feeling.

Expectations of others: I have a terrible habit of always putting others first and considering their needs and putting them before my own. I need to start focusing on my own needs by starting with the things that make me happy such as reading and continually learning new languages, it has always given me a piece of mind in the past.

3. Conclusion

The above mentioned strategies are to help me to becoming well in the dimensions that I am suffering to be content. With the aid of these strategies I believe to completely change my mind-set and outlook on the life that I am living and to change it to make myself well and to improve on these dimensions as well as other dimension I am neglecting.
My stresses such as fatigue, disconnectedness, guilt, uncertainty and the expectations of others have plagued me for too long and the dimensions which they fall under which are mental and spiritual health have been neglected and need my immediate attention to benefit my wellbeing as a whole.
The strategies that I shall enforce include meditation, quality time with family and friends, reading, sleeping, painting and most importantly time to myself so that I can learn what type of person I am now to the person I strive to be in the future.

...In "Miss Brill," Katherine Mansfield portrays a lonely and sensitive woman who finds Sundays very enjoyable and comforting. She tends to go out to the park on those particular days and observe all of the people out there. If you are going to miss the appointment or cannot make it due to mission they do allow us to cancel the appointment with in twenty four hours.
