I possess a variety of aptitudes earned through employment experience such as, excellent verbal communication skills and an approachable attitude learnt through customer service based roles. Duties/Responsibilities/ Skills Gained:
Responsible for contributing to the overall performance of the store by driving consistency in sales whilst also delivering effective customer service through pleasant level of communication. Further tasks included demonstrating excellent product knowledge, supporting team members, flexibility with working hours, showing courage by taking on challenging tasks, stock count and replacement, ensuring the store remains representable, attending events and business meetings such as Experian to represent the brand and their products. Training was provided on a regular basses to develop my skills which abled be to strive for excellence in the following accomplishments.

New Art Exchange, Nottingham, July till September2013 , Marketing Assistant (Placement)

Duties/Responsibilities/ Skills Gained:
Although my placement was for a short period of time I used my time sufficiently and developed a variety of different skills, while also gaining an insight of what my future courier would include. My placement involved supporting the marketing team by being given different tasks on a daily basses which I solved using personal initiative. Duties including attending meeting to discuss campaigns, meeting clients and artists, proof reading written articles , using Dreamweaver to update NAE website , keeping customer updated by sending direct emails through MailChimp , implementing market research after launch dates to evaluate press coverage, interviews Nottingham’s county council, developing videos about artists, writing blogs on different topics, keeping all social networks such as Facebook updated, designing posters and leaflets and constituting towards the display of artists work.
WEYA (Worlds Event Young Artists) event, August till September 2012, Nottingham, Team member.

Duties/Responsibilities/ Skills Gained:
Working for the event WEYA meant rationalising and adapting to situations quickly and effectively depending on team members. Tasks included greeting artists from different countries, which was challenging in the aspects of dealing with different nationalities although enjoyable after adapting to solve communication barriers. Multitasking was a skill I possessed by advertising events whiles also helping with the setting. Finally I used my creativity and ambition through the media team by filming events and posting blogs about them.

British Heart Foundation, Nottingham, December till April 2011,Sales Assistant (voluntary).

Duties/Responsibilities/ Skills Gained:
Duties included; working with customers face to face and over the phone, managing the till by scanning customer’s purchases and collecting payments, courteously greeting customers, assisting stock, providing a positive customer service and merchandising display. This role vastly improved my confidence to interact with customers by displaying a positive attitude on a daily basis which was praised by both employees and customers.

JTG Consulting Limited, London, January till June 2011, Receptionist and Sales Assistant.

Duties/Responsibilities/ Skills Gained:
Prime responsibility was to manage calls/emails and routing calls to relevant divisions, meeting and greeting visitors and providing hospitality towards them, dealing with any inquiries at the reception, photocopying and filing, scheduling meetings with clients to negotiate products and close deals. This role improved my professionalism and also helped consolidate my presentation skills.

Duties/Responsibilities/ Skills Gained:
Punctuality and maintaining a positive attitude at all times is a skill I personally developed into a habit through becoming a team leader sales assistant, for different brands. Experienced a range of skill such as following and teaching company polices, training team members in different areas, problem solving, leading sales, creating competition between teams, completing sales sheets, in depth knowledge of processing sales and customer satisfaction, dealing with first round interviews and recruitment. Mostly determination and dedication was the central through becoming a team leader therefore training on a daily passes was required to maintain updated in all areas.

SKILLS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

• Language skills – fluently speak English and fluently speak Farsi. • Entrepreneurial skills - exported clothing and accessories to Iran over the summer period for several years which has expanded my entrepreneurial skills by having the ability to work in other countries. • Voluntarily work - worked with children with disabilities and learning difficulties at RoseHill School in Nottingham. • Creativity – designed and sold several outfits over the internet moreover working on art pieces to display at local galleries within Nottingham. • Community work- participate in Nottingham’s community work such as WEYA an international event and the MELA festival. • Flexible in different areas such as, working morning, afternoon and weekends. • Able to adapt quickly in different areas. • Possess confident and articulate telephone manner. • Team leader and team player. • IT literate.
