Applying to college is a big deal, but finding the school that fits everything you ever dreamed of is an even bigger deal. Montclair State University is the school of my dreams and even just being considered is an honor within itself. I can foresee myself being a Red Hawk and I have for quite some time now. There are so many fantastic qualities to be found in this University that I couldn't even begin to list them and narrowing down that list to a few reasons has been very difficult. My top three reasons for wanting to attending Montclair State University would have to be the atmosphere, the filmmaking major, and how accepting the school is as a whole. I recently visited the Montclair State University campus for the first time in my life and I was completely taken back. It's so beautiful, and dare I say breathtaking. Something about it just makes the campus feel like home. So many of the students on the campus that day had nothing but good things to say about where they were. I come from a place with a lot of hate, granted the situation could be worse that it is currently, but it's just the same negative things over and over again with certain people. So to see a place where everyone is treated equally and with dignity and respect no matter who they are is very refreshing. It shouldn't matter what someone looks like, who they love, or the gender that they were born. People are just people and should be treated as such. During my visit to the campus, it was so nice to see so many clubs tailoring to so many different groups of people. This University is so accepting and amazing, I want nothing more than the honor to attend and meet so many others who are so
