The Cold Blooded Murder of Mr. Verbermockle
Imagine coming home to find one of your parents or siblings collapsed and passed out on the bathroom floor. Wouldn’t you immediately call 911? In the Verbermockle case, Mrs. Verbermockle decided to call her family doctor instead and claimed he was unconscious. She said that she had not touched him and had only placed a blanket on his body. Thus, she placed a blanket over his corpse. Unless Mr. V liked to dress in women’s apparel, there is no other suspect but Mrs. V to account for the high heeled shoe prints leading out of the shower. When Mr. V was brushing his teeth, she walked past him to get the towel and he wouldn't have been startled. If there had been a stranger he would have been startled and he would have tried to fight back, so his body would be contorted and twisted. She was then able to sneak up behind him and strangle him with the towel. He clutched his toothbrush as hard as he could because that is the natural response to being grabbed from behind. He experienced the fracture to the back of his head when he struck the ground from the force of her
