A lot of people start using Diet Pills with the idea to lose weight easy and fast. Due to the large amount of people overweight diet pills have become increasingly popular. People start using diet pills without thinking about the side effects of these pills and sometimes people just assumed they are good for our body.

Diet pills can work as appetite suppressants because they trick our body into thinking we are full by decreasing brain chemicals that affect mood and appetite. They can also work as fat absorption by preventing the body from absorbing and break down fat. The fat is eliminated in bowel movement.

The main issue with diet pills is how dangerous the ingredients they put in diet pills can damage our body. Diet pills are not as tightly regulated by the government as medications. Manufactures don’t need to prove to FDA that the pills are safe before they can sell it to consumers.

Ingredients we need to avoid in our body are Ephedra which can cause irregular heartbeat, seizures, stroke or sudden death. Yohimbe is another ingredient known to cause irregular heartbeat, changes in blood pressure and heart attack. Comfrey is associated with liver toxicity which can cause liver failure. These are only a few of the ingredients we can find in diet pills and can cause major health problems.

In general consumers had received reports of liver problems even including the death of a teenager due to the use of diet pills. Some of the side effects of the diet pills are:
