...‘Walkers Extra Crunchy’ Ad, which includes Lionel Richie. The story line of the advert is how Gary Lineker will react when Lionel Richie brings his message of sharing to the nation. Walkers have made over 60 different flavours of crisps and have multiple different types of crisps including; Baked, Cheese Heads, Crinkles, Deep Ridged, Extra Crunchy, Lights, Max, Pops, Potato Heads, Salt n’ Shake, Sensations, Sun bites and Hoops and Crosses. Products/Services There are many different components within the products/services section and Walkers only really fits into one of those, which is the product features. Within the advert I have selected they will be talking about the ‘New’ crinkly crisps. Therefore, they are advertising the type of product features that the crisp have, which walkers have, many of that have already been mentioned above. Price Walkers do not include Price in there adverts and they defiantly do not use it in this advert, which I have used. However, there are company’s which will include price is their marketing mix for advertisements. An example of a company, which would include price in their adverts, would be DFS. They are always advertising sales meaning the price have to be included. Another example may be supermarkets such as Tesco and Asda. When there is, a sale on them will quite often advertise that with prices including such as ‘All these for just £1’. Place Walkers also do not use Place in there marketing mix for their adverts because they are not...

...Running head: Adult Patient Education Issues Essay and Interview Adult Patient Education Issues Essay and Intervie June 29, 2012 There are many issues that arise when teaching older patients. These barriers may consist of barriers such as chronic illness, sensory changes, cognitive changes, and medications. A patient’s life experiences may also affect patient education. It is up to the educator to make adjustments to best fit each individual’s needs and provide the best outcome possible. I conducted an interview with Mrs. L., a 89 year-old homemaker, and her daughter, Ms. L, a 63-year old mortgage broker. Mrs. L. was being admitted for congestive heart failure after her daughter noticed a marked increase in weight gain over a period of one week. Mrs. L’s BNP was 863 and neither the patient nor the mother understood the significance of this level; moreover, they did not understand the nature of the blood test or what it represented. They were told in the emergency room that the BNP was 863 and “your mother is going to be admitted to the telemetry unit.” Mrs. L.’s hemoglobin was 7.2 and both women understood the meaning of hemoglobin level as the patient suffers from chronic anemia. Not being satisfied with the information they received in the emergency room and the lack of the physician to address the issue and potential complications, the daughter opted to wait until mom was situated on the telemetry unit. At this time she stated, “the teaching began.” The...

...continued, I felt the nerves of being here slip away forgettin’ everything about owing others and being a Cunningham. Almost felt like I was a Finch. Their cook soon brought out a huge plate of fried chicken, the promised potatoes, and crackling bread. My mouth watered at the sight of so much food. Reckon it must’ve been a few years back when I had my last meal like this. The four of us sat at their kitchen table and dug in. Atticus moved to turn on the radio. A baseball game poured through the speakers. How did he know this was my favorite sport? I closed my eyes and allowed the game to enter my mind. The game droned out the silence we ate. “So, Walter, Reckon I have heard that you ain’t ever been to a baseball game?” Atticus asked. “No, Mr. Finch, I ain’t got the money for ‘em.” I solemnly answered. “Really, I love baseball games!” Scout piped...

... Vincent lived in his native village till he was twelve years old. He was very quiet, liable to sudden bursts of impatience or high spirits, which alternated with long periods of depression. Secretive, he did not mix with other children. Vincent was not antisocial; he shared in the family life and showed great affection for his home circle. His childhood was outwardly dull and he was a lonely boy, but stubborn and determined. His time was spent in the rather confined family circle, but he was always conscious of the distant horizon bounded by the low sky, where the light was subdued even in summer. His home set Vincent an example of ‘fruitful life’ for which he formed an enduring respect. It was the only kind of life that he felt had meaning, though he himself never attained to it. And to the very end he loved his native land, with its...

...Planning Executive Plan Blue Mountain Resto Bites is a locally owned fast food chain. Through our creative approach to the company's image and detail presentation. Blue Mountain Resto Bites will provide a combination of excellent food at value pricing, with fun packaging and atmosphere. Blue Mountain Resto Bites is the answer to an increasing demand for snack-type fast food, to be consumed while window shopping and walking around inside a shopping mall. In today's highly competitive environment, it is becoming increasingly difficult to differentiate one fast food outlet from another. Our main priority is to establish one outlet in a crowded mall, preferably in one of prominent shopping malls in Singapore. Later, our effort will be a further development of more retail outlets in the surrounding area. This plan is prepared to obtain a location for the initial launch of this concept. Additional financing will need to be secured for the two subsequent outlets, anticipated in month 13 and early in year three. The financing, in addition to the capital contributions from shareholders, will allow Blue Mountain Resto Bites to successfully open and expand through year two. The initial capital investment will allow Blue Mountain Resto Bites to provide its customers with a value-driven, entertaining experience through the creativity of its founders. Blue Mountain Resto bites will entice youngsters to bring their friends and family with our innovative environment. 1.1 Objectives ...

Read the Big Ideas and Key Understandings and the Synopsis. Please do not read this to the students. This is a description for teachers about the big ideas and key understanding that students should take away after completing this task. Big Ideas and Key Understandings Writers use irony to fuel the plot of a story. Synopsis Bill and Sam decide that the best way to finance their upcoming land swindle is to kidnap the child of a wealthy citizen and hold him for ransom. The boy they choose, instead of being the docile, frightened child one would expect, is a terror who abuses Bill in every way he can think of, all in the name of fun. The response to their ransom note is not what they would have wished: instead of paying $1500 to get Johnny back, the father demands $250 to take the boy off their hands. In desperation, they agree, and end the story poorer than they began. Read the entire selection, keeping in mind the Big Ideas and Key Understandings. Re-read the text while noting the stopping points for the Text Dependent Questions and teaching Tier II/academic vocabulary. During Teaching 1. Students read the entire selection independently. 2.
