B.)This article discusses why staff health and wellbeing is of importance to clinics and how increased ill health costs them money. It describes how increased absenteeism leads to increased turnover, which leads to low productivity and performance, costing countless dollars. It offers ideas of health education to help employees with lifestyle changes such as eating healthier and smoking cessation. Bloxam and Evans offer a good implementation plan with interesting ideas (2013).

It gives specific steps to take and ways to make improvements that increase productivity. Every point in this article would be beneficial for The Murray Woman’s Clinic. The idea of employees holding themselves accountable for their actions should be implied, but when you give them the option to provide a solution to a problem, they get more involved and take pride in their abilities. This increases motivation and productivity.

B.) This article discusses the challenges that organizations are facing to retain talented employees and the link between job satisfaction and life satisfaction. It offers statistical information that suggests a significant positive correlation between job satisfaction and affective commitment. It infers that a healthy work atmosphere decreases turnover. Decreased turnover saves organizations money (Patrick, 2012).
C.)There is good information in this article but it is mostly a study with statistical information. There is no plan with suggestions for improvement. There is nothing in this article that I could suggest to The Murray Woman’s Clinic for implementation purposes; however, the statistical information does relate job satisfaction to relationships, productivity, and turnover.

Several scenarios factor in but each of the above sources provides some type possible plan or information to aid in implementing the proper changes. Changes in communication can lead to mutual respect between supervisors and staff, which in return gives the employees the "want too" to do better, allowing for increased productivity. Increased productivity SAVES money. The link between productivity, morale, and communication is so strong that in my opinion they should not be considered separate entities. To change one, all must be improved upon, or implementing changes to improve one area has direct effects on the others. If my clinic were to implement a change to improve communication, morale would indirectly be positively affected. When employees feel valued and empowered they strive to do well and see the success of their company as success for themselves. The most effective way to increase productivity is to strengthen communication, allowing for better relationships. Managerial employee relationships as well as employee to employee relationship has a direct effect on morale, communication, and productivity; which are all related and have direct impacts on any clinical situation.
