The microphone industry has always been compared by not only quality but price. As most of us have a budget here are three reviews of recording microphones from entry level to professional all under 1000.00. The microphones role in the studio. A recording microphone used in a home or professional studio is key to sound quality of the recording. There are a variety of affordable microphones on the market today and it is still growing. There are of course a variety of price tags that come with this equipment. The best recording microphone under a 1000.00 is the Rode NTIA microphone, and is essential for a home recording studio. Blue Microphone Spark This particular microphone is amongst the best for under $250.00. The blue spark microphone has an FET condenser built into a bottle style body. This microphone uses a 25mm capsule. The capsule is mounted in a lollipop head, behind a 2 layer metallic mesh grill. The microphone produces only 10dBA of self noise. Given the microphones low self noise and high sensitivity, the spark would be best suited for recording quiet instruments.
