My Capstone Project Thesis Statement

My Capstone project is about 50% complete. The main trouble spot for me was settling on a thesis

statement. There were a few topics that were on my list but were difficult to develop an argumentative

thesis statement. It proved to be a slightly frustrating experience. However, I was able to choose a topic

and thesis statement. I found developing the outline using MindMup very helpful. Aligning my thoughts

and being able to manipulate them into a finished product using technology was awesome.

I was able to identify my resources for my Capstone relatively easy. There is a lot of on-line content

on my topic. Also, I’m using two books that will give my report some needed heft. The published word in

some ways is more respected

...American Public University System American Military University SCMT Undergraduate Capstone Proposal Form 12 February 2015 Daniel Roberts Winter 2015 Submitted in partial fulfillment of the degree requirements for the BA in Security Management Abstract The purpose of this proposal is to address the importance of Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) and the mythology behind this since the attacks of 9/11, as well as a brief history of Critical Infrastructure Protection pass to the present to include attacks from the cyber arena. These attacks are prone to come indirect or direct which will and could affect our need and use for resources for life as we know it based on living naturally on a daily bases, these threats maybe man made or by natural disaster. Problem statement Prior to the attacks of 9/11 there was no main concern with the protection of Critical Infrastructure within the United States from any avenue. As we moved on into the 21 century the threat has evolved from more than just protecting water source, and power plants. With the information age this issue has shown another form of crippling the United States economy with just the push of a button. How we to protect these infrastructures from threats that may not be seen or those from natural disasters is a question for now and the future. Purpose statement I have chosen this particular subject due to the nature of its importance to national security, economy, as well as the everyday needs...

Abstract In the field of business ethics, there has been much written and discussed about ethical matters in areas where there is a distinct right and wrong, but relatively little written about how to make decisions when the ethical issue isn’t as black and white. When marketing a product, it is one’s hope that ethical issues are typically not inherent to the marketer; however, when one has the unenviable task of marketing a controversial product, it becomes a true question of “grayarea” ethics that makes marketing decisions more difficult to make. Companies depend on marketing...

...these conferences is to glorify God, to foster community among Christian engineering educators, and to encourage and challenge each other in our work of kingdom building. Abraham Kuyper, one of the great thinkers within the Reformed tradition of Christianity, has said that there is not one square centimeter of the creation that is not claimed by Christ. As Christian engineering educators of whatever tradition, we seek to stake that claim in our discipline, exploring how our faith impacts our teaching, our profession, and the technological products we design. In this proceedings you will find seven papers that span several areas of interest: philosophical questions as well as practical matters, changing ABET requirements, and mission statements, to name a few. We hope you find these papers encouraging and enlighteningchallenging. May God be glorified...

Dan Brown

...FOR BLYTHE Acknowledgments My profound thanks to three dear friends with whom I have the great luxury of working: my editor, Jason Kaufman; my agent, Heide Lange; and my counselor, Michael Rudell. In addition, I would like to express my immense gratitude to Doubleday, to my publishers around the world, and, of course, to my readers. This novel could not have been written without the generous assistance of countless individuals who shared their knowledge and expertise. To all of you, I extend my deep appreciation. To live in the world without becoming aware of the meaning of the world is like wandering about in a great library without touching the books. The Secret Teachings of All Ages ———————————— FACT: In 1991, a document was locked in the safe of the director of the CIA. The document is still there today. Its cryptic text includes references to an ancient portal and an unknown location underground. The document also contains the phrase “It’s buried out there somewhere.” All organizations in this novel exist, including the Freemasons, the Invisible College, the Office of Security, the SMSC, and the Institute of Noetic Sciences. All rituals, science, artwork, and monuments in this novel are real. ———————————— Prologue House of the Temple 8:33 P.M. The secret is how to die. Since the beginning of time, the secret had always been how to die. The thirty-four-year-old initiate gazed down at the human skull cradled in his palms. The skull was hollow, like...
