Specifically my school goals for this year, and of course there going to be realistic so not something like straight A’s all trimester/year long. Mainly some goals for my grades, things I hope to have achieved, and possibly some sports goals as well. I’m of course going to start with grades simply because there the key to the other things, without the good grades you won’t be in many sports, and you certainly won’t get anywhere in life with low grades either. So without further a due, here, is my essay... or at least the rest of it. Grades, yes those dreaded things that our parents practically go insane over and yes it is true that we need to keep them good if we have plans on going anywhere in life. But this isn’t a paragraph about grades in general; it’s a paragraph about my grades. So let’s keep on topic here. My goal grade wise is simply a 3.0 or higher, by that math if I can keep it around a 3.2 to 3.6 it’ll be a perfect GPA for getting into most schools. Mainly MSU, Ohio State, Central,...

Many times there are outside forces that can hinder success while in college. The duties and responsibilities required from work, family, social responsibility, and health can all interfere with choices for success. The hours at work, whether full-time or part-time do not always stop when leaving work. Sometimes work must be brought home, putting in extra hours to complete the project instead of using good time management skills and delegating to get it done. Families are a 24-hour job and contain both wonderful and sometimes stressful obligations. Family responsibility does not stop when leaving for work, running errands, or a night out with friends. When your child or spouse is sick or an unexpected event happens in their life, everything generally stops to take care of them. Class work time is lost when fulfilling obligations to organizations and other personal commitments. To be successful in college I must effectively use time management skills. The most important thing to have for time management is some kind of system. Some students use the calendars on their phones; others...
