7-Ups of life 人生七喜
不知你是否喜欢我这篇人生七喜演讲?

Good morning, Boys and girls!

Does anybody like this drink(高举7-Ups的气水罐)? Well, this is my favorite drink. But today I am not going to talk about my favorite drink. I would like to talk about 7-ups of life. You may wonder what that is. Ok, please sit back and listen.
The 7-Ups of life.
1. Wake up!
I would say” Today is a new day. Let’s rejoice and be happy!”
So I am going to stop to smell a flower. I’m going to stop to look up at the blue sky and the white fluffy clouds. I’m going to stop to listen to the raindrops against my windows.
2. Dress up!
The best way to dress up is to put on a smile. A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks. A little smile can make such a big difference in one’s life. I would smile to the people I know and I would smile to the people I don’t know. The world is so beautiful with smiles all around.
3. Shut up!
Today I will shut up! I will say nice things and learn to listen. “ Hi!” “ How are you?” “Can I help you?” I am going to tell my mom and dad how much I love them
Today is the tomorrow I set goals for yesterday.
4.Stand up!
Everybody should stand for something or you will fall for anything. I will stand firm on my ground and do what I think is right. I would never bow to the evil.
5. Look up!
I will look up at the sky. I would look up at the universe. I gain strength. I gain guidance.
6. Reach Up !!
I will like to stand higher and see farther and reach something higher.
7. Lift Up !!
I will say a little Prayer today. I pray for the world peace. I pray for the happiness of my loved ones. I pray for a peace of mind.
Boys and girls, these are the seven ups of my life. I hope you could sit back and think about the 7-ups for your life .
Wish you all the best!
Bye!

FUTURE IS NOW
What is future?Every time I look at the stars in the sky,I ask myself。It's realy a hard question to answer it。The universe is boundless,we don't know where are we from and where shall we go。I stand there,at sea。

Last Sunday, there was a rain of meteors。I went to the belcony towait for their coming。Above my shoulder,it was the wind。Above the wind,it was the sky, huge and blue, with sparkling stars。Suddenly,a shooting star appeared。I hurried to pray for her happiness, staring at it。I wanted to pray for more, but it had already died out。I realised ,future is not carved on the meteors, but it's now, around us。

When a fortune-teller look at your palm, she'll tell you how your future will be like。That's a way you place your ho华考范文网he path among the trees, you'll never swim in the lake or climb the mountains。

Time is gold。Every minute is precious。We should make best use of it。Don't waste even one minute。Spend time in working,in laughing,in playing games and in loving。

Each of us has a kite flying in the sky,and we also have a string each。
Children's kite is childhood,the string is grown。
Lovers' kite is love, the string is daily life。
I have a kite,it is called dream, the string in my hands is reality。
The wind which makes kites fly is future。Kites are not free, but we still have power to control them and let them fly higher and higher。The string is in my hands, future is now in my hands。

Future is now, forget the fortune-teller,clench your fists!

A Young Idler,An Old Beggar Almost everyone knows the famous Chinese saying:A young idler,an old beggar. Throughout history,we have seen many cases in which this saying has again and again proved to be true.

It goes without saying that the youth is the best time of life, during which one's mental and physical states are at their peaks. It takes relatively less time and pains to learn or accept new things in a world full of changes and rapid developments. In addition, one is less likely to be under great pressure from career, family and health problems when young. Therefore,a fresh mind plus enormous energy will ensure success in different aspects of life.

Of course,we all know:no pains,no gains. If we don't make every effort to make good use of the advantages youth brings us,it is impossible to achieve any goals. As students,we should now try our best to learn all the subjects well so that we can be well prepared for the challenges that we will face in the future.

In life, we were told to pursue our dreams, by our parents, our teachers, and also our friends. To others, my dreams seemed unreal. Just aimless thoughts in my mind. But to me, my dreams are what I want to be in the future because I know, there is no limit to a dream. Initially, like any other little kids, I wanted to be what everyone wants to be. During that time, everyone wanted to be a policeman. I consider it a very noble job for someone to do because it involves the safety of people around them. But nevertheless, that dream did not went on for long. As I grew up, I knew more about dreams and ambition. From that point of my life, I told myself to have a dream which I would put effort to achieve it. Because dreams are what you want to be in the future. So, I decided to set my goals and put in my best efforts. I wanted to be a pilot. Because since I was a small young boy, i was already in love with aviation. My Dream

...very soundly at night. My sleep is generally undisturbed by dreams but one night, I had a pleasant dream. I dreamt that I had won Rs. 1 crore in a derby lottery. My joy knew no bounds. My parents, too, felt overjoyed. I received numerous telegrams of congratulation from my friends and relatives. For a time, I felt elated. I was mad with joy. I could not decide how to spend the huge amount. I thought over the matter and hit upon a solution. I decided to have a decent bungalow far removed from the din and noise of the city, surrounded by a garden, with rarest flowers and trees in it. This would cost me Rs. 30 lakhs. I would live there comfortably, in the lap of nature and nearer God. I decided to spend Rs. Ten lakhs on a beautiful Rolls Royce, one of the best cars. I would drive it myself. Every morning I would take my parents and family for a long drive along the mall and the canal. This would add to my status and position in society. I would invest Rs. Twenty lakhs, on the establishment of a steel rolling mill. This would provide employment for about 40 souls and give me a monthly income of Rs. 50,000. This would ensure me a comfortable living. I would gradually become a mill-owner. I would donate Rs. 15,000 to the Punjab University as an endowment fund out of which a scholarship of Rs. 25 per mensem would be awarded to a student irrespective of caste or creed, who would stand first in the matric examination, from amongst the candidates of my village. This would serve...

Personal Narrative: How Interpreting Dreams Transformed My Life

...How Interpreting Dreams Transformed My Life Do you think your dreams are meaningless nonsense? Or do you have no idea what your dreams mean? Back in 1990, I thought my dreams were crazy without any understanding about their meaning. This changed when I started working with a therapist to aid me with my vivid dreams that eventually healed issues from childhood. Working with my dreams has completely manifested a life filled with acceptance, spirituality, plus knowing who I am. The following are three ways my dreams have transformed my life. Symbols In the early days of learning dream interpretation, I was clueless as what my personal symbols meant; therefore I went to dream dictionaries. What I discovered was definitions of their symbol meanings didn’t ring true for the majority of my dreams, which you can learn more...

Personal Narrative: My American Dream

...A stereotypical part of everyone’s American dream is the ability to go to a college or university and obtain a degree and further their lives. Since this idea was popular enough to become a stereotype, people must have a reason for including it. Mine is simple, I have a passion. My earliest memories of my obsession with the natural world stem from when I must of been four or five, waddling around my uncle’s backyard. I engrossed myself in every detail of his lakefront backyard, flowering bladderwort on the lake, tiny juvenile American toads hopping around my feet, and towering pitch pines above my head; I was in heaven. Next I start exploring the 171 acres of wildlife refuge known as Cedar Run, sitting right in my own backyard. Visiting the...

College Admissions Essay: Why I Am Pursuing My Dream

...this term. The word " Dreamer " elicit in me the image of someone who has great plans for the future, but never is willing to stand up, overcome the obstacle that stand in the way and make his or her dreams true. I will rather be known as a doer because I assiduously pursue my dreams. For Instance, nobody believed I could be admitted to any university. I moved from the Dominican Republic to the United States of America about six years ago with none English language skills at all when I was on the mid of my sophomore year in high school. After school, I had to work to help in the household. A Spanish-speaking women with very low English proficiency, whose parents have low-income, does not have future. All that was expected of me was that to continue the pattern of many Latino immigrants: work in factories, or retail settings for the minimum wage. Nevertheless, although there is nothing wrong with being a blue collar worker, I did not want this for my future. I knew that we, the Latinos community, were underserved in all the spectrum from education to mental health services, because there were not many Latinos out there who advocates in our favor. I wanted to change it, and I knew that it can be possible only with education. Therefore, I worked hard to improve my language skills and in my senior year I was accepted into Kean...

...GROWTH PLAN A convenient starting point for a discourse of this nature would, expectedly, be to provide a brief sketch of my background. My formative years of knowledge- acquisition were spent at various educational institutions in Nigeria. Specifically, between the year 2004 and 2008, I was at the University of Ibadan, Oyo State for degree program leading to the award of Bachelor of Science in Geography. My inquisitive and adventure loving nature steered me easily to the sciences. I chose to study Geography because the earth in itself provides an immeasurable source of instantaneously occurring mysteries. I then went ahead to start my career in sales at a reputable Telecommunications company in Nigeria. After four years mastering the art of sales I decided a career change or at the least career advancement was needed to succeed in this competitive world, hence my decision to pursue a Masters in Business Administration to hone my analytical skills. There are various principles that shape my vision, goals, path and my life’s journey. Amongst the factors that drive me is a passion for excellence, excellence in everything I set out to do however minute the task is. The need to be a pacesetter, a trail blazer, someone that questions the status quo is inherently ingrained in me. Also, having an acute dislike for mediocrity is another factor that has an impact on my outlook to life, mediocrity is defined as the quality of being average or ordinary, why be ordinary when I can be extraordinary...

Since I was a little boy, I’ve always loved watching creative commercials, not actually knowing why they had the commercials or what they were about, but the creative process behind it intrigued me. I’ve always wanted to know what was the creative process behind them and how they came up with those concepts. My parents have always told me that you can be anything you put your mind to. I’ve always kept that in the back of my mind growing up. Through my experience here at Arkansas State University, I feel that they are giving me all the necessary tools in order for me to reach my fullest potential. Continuing to challenge me in all that I do is going to make me a stronger competitor in the business world. I have taken numerous academic trips throughout my college career in association to some of the honor societies in which I belong to help push me a step further than my peers. Branching out and networking with other people around the world is very important. One must continue to make those connections and possibly be a light to others. My Dream

...My first job had a huge influence on my future career. I was very grateful to have a very good boss at that time. His name was James, and he was more than forty years old. He was an American overseas Chinese. Before he set up a culture company for which I worked, he was the CEO of an electric appliance company. He always treated people very friendly with a big smile, and he was concerned about the health and mood of his employees. The sense of accomplishment which I got from my first job is really unforgettable. Under James’ leadership, I felt valuable to the company. He asked us to do the work with a clear purpose, and gave us up to date information in the regular meetings. When you were recognized in a company-wide meeting, a sense of pride was indescribable. The company had just set up recently, and our business was overseas cultural exchange. Most of us were engaged in a new field, even our boss. Our work was certainly imperfect, because we were in the exploratory stage. However, our boss never blamed our work; he just said to keep it up. The boss gave out wages personally every monthly. As a result of the small-scale, the boss would take one day at the end of the month for a face-to face interview with everyone. Mostly, he encouraged us and talked about promotion initiatives. There was also a very intimate habit, that each time he would send everyone a specialty gift from his hometown after we finished the conversation. The most motivation for us was the effect our boss...

My Thoughts, My Dreams

...My thoughts, my dreams On the surface I think I am like most young and modern women: I take studying very seriously, I have dreams and goals for the future that I am determined to make it happen, and I do not expect anyone to do the hard work for me. My roots are from an average family, my father is a carpenter and my mother is a tailor. Even though we are not a well to do family, I still feel that I am very lucky to have a supportive family behind me. What makes me different from everyone my age, is how I choose to fill my time away from school. Since I know that we need to exert extra effort to be able to help ourselves buy our school stuff or pay our tuition fees, I have sought a job during summer that would teach me new skills and give me a sense of fulfillment. I turned out to be a tutor to the young kids in the community. In this way, I am not only helping myself and my family, but the kids and their family as well. The kids tend to spend more time studying, learn new ideas, useful tips and increase their knowledge instead of concentrating into unproductive things. Parents are confident that I am looking after their kids and that kids will have additional knowledge apart from the normal academic teachings. Naturally, kids love playing particularly, it is summer time and therefore, I have thought of mixing theories with fun and exciting games that offer invaluable life lessons, which includes being a good friend, team member, compassion for others and how...

My Dream Home

...1101/48 10 September 2012 My Dream Home My dream home that I design will be all that I imagine and more. It will be a three bedroom, Ranch-styled, brick home with a three car garage and a massive double front door. Some of the interior features will include a chef’s kitchen and spa-like on-suites. Outdoors will consist of meandering pathways through colorful shade gardens that lead up to a flagstone terrace that overlooks the in-ground swimming pool. The ultimate chef’s kitchen in my home will have cool black granite countertops lining the walls, breakfast bar, and island. A double-oven and pasta sink is a must for an Italian inspired kitchen. An oversized copper sink with the apron showing would be housed around the breakfast bar for easy access. The warm glow from the pendant lighting surrounding the kitchen with rich copper undertones sets the perfect mood lighting as I cook delicious creations with sinful aromas. Afterwards, I can wash my cares away by visiting one of the spa-like on-suites just off of any one of the bedrooms. Each one includes a walk-in shower with stunning rainfall showerheads and travertine tiles. If I prefer a soak, I can slide into a warm bubble bath in one of the copper claw-foot tubs situated by a picture window overlooking the many gardens. Once my senses have been renewed, I can wander outdoors to peaceful surroundings. ...
